Teen Wolf- Well, that was a little anti-climactic! I mean, they beat the bad guys, save the town, nazi guy gets turned into a Ghost Rider before they leave and take him with them. But hey, at least Stydia are finally together, so that's cool!
I did not expect them to fast forward to them graduating. Which has me curious what will happen in the final 10 eps! I mean, Lydia is going to MIT, Stiles to GW and some sort of FBI-internship thing, while Scott is going to UC Davis. So not only are they not in Beacon Hills (well, I dunno where UC Davis is, it might be close), but the gang isn't even altogether, being on separate coasts!
Agents of SHIELD- Again, its easy to forget what the audience knows and what the characters know. So the baddies didn't know Aida was a robot?! Like, I would think before they let Radcliffe into their little club, they would thoroughly vet him, and thus know he's latest thing was that he developed super advanced androids. Like didn't Radcliffe run to them because he'd been found out? I figured they'd be aware of original Aida failing and his replica being exposed then. But apparently not if Aida being a robot was a surprise.
Which is interesting, since that makes me think, okay, maybe this group doesn't know all the tricks Radcliffe has up his sleeve. But yeah, so the Superior is just some random Russian dude? And weird, they guy is after Coulson since he seems to be at the center of many of these crazy events, and was dead but is now not dead? They act like they weren't sure who he was or if he actually is alive until Radcliffe confirms it. Did Watchdog guy never encounter him, I could swear he did. And yeah, Nadeer arrested him and Yo-Yo last week! If that's the Superior's plan, to get Coulson, wouldn't it have been a big deal if Nadeer had her hands on him?!!
In any case, the bad guys have the Darkhold, because no one warned one of the Koenigs that May had been replaced with an LMD. So Radcliffe gets it, but abandons LMD May behind. I kinda feel sorry for her. She even tries to appeal to Coulson saying, she has all of May's memories and behaviors, so the thing between them is real. So even though original Aida and LMD Radcliffe are destroyed, Coulson can't bring himself to destroy LMD yet, because if they're unable to find real May, that's all that will be left of her.
I was surprised that that how it all went down though. Mack and Fitzsimmons figure it out before everyone else, as LMD Radcliffe slips up. When Fitz opens up the head to look at LMD Radcliffe's brain and spout technical jargon, LMD Radcliffe can't resist tooting its own horn, saying the these artificial brains have everything of the original. So Gemma picks up on the plurality of that statement and remembers May had been scanned before.
Unfortunately they don't get to warn Coulson in time, who only figures it out when May gets her hand on the Darkhold and her programming takes over. But like I said before, Daisy disables her, they almost prevail against the baddies, only in the chaos one of Koenig tries to flee with the book and accidentally comes upon injured LMD May and gets knocked out by her when he goes to help her.
But yeah, we learn more about the Koenigs. One of them, the toughest of them, is L.T., played by Artemis from IASIP. She's an actual field agent, and brought her brothers (all played by Patton Oswalt) into SHIELD. In addition to Billy, Sam, and the deceased Eric, there's another brother Thurston who is a peacenik. Heh, there's a point there where they make you think they were older model LMDs, but they were just technicians on the old LMD project.
We also get some background info on Fitz's father, who Radcliffe was acquaintances with, though we can't be sure of the veracity of that, it could be just the LMD trying to psyche him out. But yeah, apparently he was an a-hole who abandoned Fitz and his mom when he was 10. LMD Radcliffe says he claims he spoke to Fitz's dad only a few months ago, thought Fitz unplugs him despite the LMD being all, "He told me to tell you..."
Which again, that could be the LMD effing with him, but I'm guessing we'll see Fitz's dad eventually, perhaps working with the bad guys.
