NCIS: LA- I knew I didn't like that guy! So the person behind it all is... Sullivan?!! Like when they first introduced him, I thought he would be like an obstacle to Densi. And then he just left before throwing any monkeywrenches in their relationship, so I was thinking, he was random! But I guess that was the perfect way to hide him. People are thinking he's just some dude flirting with Kensi, but he's the secret bad guy.
So he's CIA, and apparently they have beef with Hetty's team because they interfered with some CIA op? And Sullivan's leg wasn't lost by an IED, he lost it because Kensi shot him in the leg, not that she knew who the hell he was at the time, much less that she was shooting at a CIA agent.
But yeah, the mole is supposedly Sabatino, who embedded spyware in an e-mail to Kensi back when she was working with him, which infected the NCIS mail server. And that gave Sullivan's people the means to find Carl Brown and turn him.
I like Hetty's plan, using Carl as bait, then "having the tables turned on her" by Carl, Sabatino, and Sherov and put in Carl's cage. Which is exactly where she wanted to be, as it was safe from THE BUILDING BLOWING UP ON TOP OF THEM! Heh, Hetty's a maniac! She's also the one responsible for the gang getting jailed, to keep them off the streets and safe. Not that helped Granger! And Kensi got grabbed after getting an ear wig to Deeks.
But yeah, the blast kills Sherov, and leads the gang to Hetty. Unfortunately, Whiting takes a bullet to the throat from Carl Brown (having joined in the excursion because the only way she was letting Deeks go was if he let her tag along and promise to finally reveal everything). Sam and Callen take him out, and Deeks reveals the truth about what he did, how he killed the guy to protect someone.
Since they didn't have her die immediately after that, I presume she actually will survive but then choose not to arrest Deeks?
Anyways, so basically every CIA agent they met teamed up against them? Between that and Trent Court on NCIS last year, what the hell do the writers have against the CIA? I'm trying to figure out what episode the Sullivan/Ferris encounter was in. Like it had to be when Kensi was over there, obviously, but I'm trying to figure out if it was an off-screen encounter, or something we actually did see, and it was retconned (or maybe that was the plan all along) that some random guy Kensi shot was Sullivan/Ferris.
But yeah, I can't believe they freaking ended the ep with him about to cut Kensi's leg off. Seriously?! And since next week's the superbowl, it'll be a while to see what happens!
