Supernatural- Wow, lots of bold moves this episode. Heh, you know it didn't occur to me that Cas would have no idea what happened to the Winchesters. As such, he and Mary end up making a deal with the British Men of Letters to find them.
Turns out it was unnecessary, as the Winchesters escape by themselves, by somehow faking their deaths to get out of their cells, escaping into the forest, and systematically taking down the soldiers that are sent after them, but leaving them alive.
They meet up with Cas, Mary, Davies, and Ketch. The Brit MoLs aren't too pleased they left survivors, but the boys are all, they're not monsters, they're just soldiers doing their job. They thought the Winchesters tried to kill the PoTUS, so why wouldn't they arrest them and toss them in a deep dank hole?
Unbeknown to the Winchesters, Davies totally sent Ketch to basically slaughter the base and thus anyone who knew the Winchesters were involved in the incident with the president.
Which I'm torn on the British Men of Letters. Like they're doing good, but they're kinda draconian. They've basically perfected hunting, with access to incredible resources. I mean, I guess they sound hoity-toity, but the American hunters are kinda assholes. Like sure, Davies is more of a behind the scenes guy, but it seems dumb of that one hunter to totally dismiss him because his hands were soft.
Like, the Winchesters not teaming up with the British Men of Letters makes sense. But it seems like there are plenty of other hunters who would share the British MoL's views and taking them up on their offer would take them to a whole other level. Looks like Mary is thinking about it though.
Which speaking of, another bold move- so Sam and Dean didn't fake their deaths, they made a deal with Billie to have 24 hours to escape, but come midnight, she would reap one of them. Their mom goes to take their place, and it seems like the boys were about to see their mom commit suicide. But at the last second Cas kills Billie, because the world needs all of them, and also he doesn't want to lose any of them.
Which, its kinda annoying they killed off yet another female character, and a PoC at that. But it did seem inevitable since she was really keen on killing them given how many times they've cheated death and literally killed him.
