TV commentary:
Agents of SHIELD- Pretty clever. So, we finally see when the switch of May took place. We also see the simulation of a health spa that she was put in and rejected. Then we see the new "conflict-based" simulation she was put into after that. Basically, its her trying to escape the lab. However, even that is eventually going to fail, because May keeps getting further and further in her "escape attempts" despite her memory being erased and being taken back to the beginning. Aida mentions May is moving along faster, forcing Aida to code more and more of the virtual world May gets deeper into.
So this emboldens May, because that means she'll get out eventually because she's getting better at the simulation than they can make it. However, Radcliffe figures out a solution when LMD May confronts him once Fitz figures out original Aida's betrayal was a result of Radcliffe's programming, not from reading the Darkhold. LMD May has some philosophical questions (and possibly doesn't fully understand she's an LMD initially, thinking she's real May having had something done to her). And in telling her about how similar she is to the real May because they share the same memories, and how real May actually does feel the same way about Phil as LMD does, he makes a realization. He says the bond between them is obvious. But May is too busy with duty to ever let herself get into it. She's trying to make up for "the conflict she lost", i.e. Bahrain, when she killed that one Inhuman girl and earned the moniker "The Calvary".
And so, she's put into a simulation that does satiate her. An AU of that mission where she saves the girl, and it really was the mom who was behind all of it. Something that finally puts her so much at peace that she doesn't want to leave.
Meanwhile, things aren't going so great for SHIELD. Despite Talbot's warnings, Coulson and Yo-yo try to bug Senator Nadeer's office while Daisy and Mace are in front of a senate committee so she can sign the Sokovia accords. However Nadeer turns it around on them- even though Daisy was on a secret undercover mission, she used her powers. Now either she broke the accords by using her powers even though she didn't sign the accords, or SHIELD willing let an agent of theirs break it.
And then because there's a leak (more on that later), Nadeer is aware of the bugging attempt and capture and arrest Yo Yo and Coulson. And so she drops the bombshell that not only was SHIELD trying to spy on her, again they were using a superhuman agent illegally in pursuit of their goals.
They're free to go afterward, but Talbot is livid. Because they just may have burnt away any trust they had from the public. Coulson tries to argue that that's the way things need to be done, but later, privately with LMD May he realizes maybe he did mess up.
Anyways, he does think there was one good thing from this, and that they now there is a leak. At first, Jemma was worried it was Fitz's fault, as she discovered he was still working on Aida and she may have been the source of the leak. But he quickly reveals he figured out Radcliffe programmed Aida to betray them and try and steal the Darkhold. As mentioned earlier, this is when May goes to confront Radcliffe, as she realized he may behind her situation.
In any case, her conversation is interrupted with SHIELD showing up to arrest him, and no one the wiser that their May is an LMD (her programming makes it impossible to tell the others she's a mole, as much as she wants to)
But yeah, one of the reveals earlier in the ep was that there was another LMD. There's like a lot of misdirects, with people remarking, "Oh, X is acting out of character!" Like Mack asks for some personal time after doing the deed with Elena. She eventually confronts him on it, and he admits he went to see his ex. At first she thinks he's some kinda player. But he reveals he used to have a daughter. She only lived 4 days, but it was the anniversary of her death, so he and his ex were just meeting to support each other over that.
It turns out the LMD was Radcliffe! He knew once Aida was found out, he'd soon be exposed, so he put an LMD in his place to protect himself. Fitz figures it out though, since Radcliffe's dialogue starts to sound like programmed responses to Fitz's trained ear. And so he tests his theory by shooting Radcliffe in the head. Which was kinda funny, because there's like several seconds where its obvious what Fitz is about to do when he asks for the guard's gun. And he had no idea Fitz was testing a theory that Radcliffe was an LMD. So apparently that guy is just cool with his superiors murdering people!
The real Radcliffe is with Nadeer, needing asylum now that he's been found out.
Teen Wolf- It possibly worked! So while Scott, Lydia, and Malia try to remember Stiles, the Sheriff and Liam try to draw away the Ghost Riders. Liam thinks they need Theo's help, but the Sheriff is all, "I don't need him, I have a whole bunch of deputies!" Nope! Guess no one told him they were taken while he was busy remembering Stiles.
So he reluctantly frees Theo, but immediately gets shot and taken by the Ghost Riders when they show up at the station. Liam and Theo get to the hospital, wherein Liam turns on an ambulance siren to purposely attract the Riders, as that's his job, to distract. Theo is pissed at first, and talks all, "Yeah, while you're distracting the Riders, I'm going to run!" Eventually, Liam convinces Theo that its inevitable that he gets captured, and doesn't he want to go down fighting?
They defeat a couple, but it seems the stream of Riders is endless. At first you think Theo is going to make good on his claim and flee and leave Liam. But he grabs Liam and heads for the elevator. But lest you think he was dragging him there so they could both escape, Theo throws Liam in and then closes the door to hold of the Riders, and is presumably taken.
Meanwhile, the gang tries to remember Stiles. Its a harrowing process, and Scott and Malia do recover memories of Stiles, it doesn't work. But then Scott says one thing he realized from his memories is that it has to be Lydia, because she and Stiles share a deep connection. Even Malia says so. Which given her tears, so were they indeed still together and she's admitting out loud she knows her bf loves another girl, Lydia?
But yeah, Lydia remembers the first time they kissed, and how that changed everything, and then remembers she was there when Stiles was taken. That the last thing he said to her before he was taken was that he loved her. And she was upset that she was unable to say it back.
It seems to work, because there's a glowing light, and a silhouette appears out of the tunnel. Presumably its Stiles, but given the show is smart ass and did this crazy build up without showing who it is, it could be a fake-out. Though people will be pretty pissed next week if it isn't him.
