TV commentary:

The Librarians- Heh, I call shenanigans! So even though DOSA didn't show up in the picture until now, apparently they were around since the beginning? So General Rockwell, head of the DOSA, is Eve's mentor, and had arranged for Eve to meet Flynn so she could infiltrate the library as a sleeper agent.

I was a little confused though, was Rockwell saying they didn't tell her anything, making her the perfect sleeper since how can she be found out if even she doesn't know she's a sleeper. And now Rockwell is just appealing to Baird's sense of duty to get her back in the fold? Or was she saying Baird knew she was a sleeper, and the Librarians did magic mumbo-jumbo for her to forget?

In any case, that look at the end, the show is having the audience think Cassandra is with DOSA now? Ah'm skeptical. Firstly, if Rockwell managed to turn Cassandra just with that one convo on the train, that's silly. But there was that scene before Charlene left (so I guess she's gone for reals now, having severed her connection to the Library and moved on to a different plane so she can't be used to enter the Library?), where she whispered something mysterious in Baird's ear.

So if Eve does seem evil in the next ep, I presume its just a long con against DOSA, that whatever Charlene told her caused her to come up with a plan to defeat the Library's enemies. But yeah, the silly thing about DOSA trying to activate Baird now, is why now? Like there haven't been a couple of seasons of previous threats to the world that, maybe would be the one that would cause DOSA to be all, "What is this tomfoolery? We should get Baird to get these Librarians under control now!" Rockwell's talking like "Oh, the Library is at the center of all these threats! They can't be trusted to control all these artifacts!" Then why did it take so long for DOSA to decide to do something about it?

Anyways, we get a time jump, I guess for Cassandra to recover from her brain surgery maybe? But mostly to have Jake hang out and study in Shangri-La under the Monkey King. Heh, sometimes it seems like the show acts like Jake and Eliot from Leverage are the same character. I mean, Jake's whole deal was he was well read but never ventured from his home town. Like he knew how to handle himself in a fight, but throughout the series the show acts like he has Eliot's fighting skills. Baird's supposed to be the guardian, but he seems to be the one who has to physically fight people more.

But I digress, so now he has a special power too? A magical tattoo conferred by the Staff of Shangri-La for saving the Monkey King. We don't know what it does yet though. But now he has a tattoo, Cassandra got an upgrade to her power, is Ezekiel going to get something?

Heh, and is it me, or was Cassandra's alter ego of "Amy Adamantite" hott?
