Drunk History- Is it me, or was there something strangely hot about Aubrey Plaza and Alia Shawkat playing Burr and Hamilton, respectively?
Frequency- Is it me, or is Daniel kinda out his mind? So in the new timeline, he thinks Raimy is some stalker chick he keeps running into. But now he's like coming to her house saying he can't stop thinking about her? Though to be fair, if a girl as hott as Raimy came around, I wouldn't be able to get her out of my head either. But they're like kissing, even though he totally has a fiancee. I mean, we haven't seen her even mentioned since the pilot, but given he has a ring hidden away, he must be planning to get engaged soon!
But we now have a viable suspect for the case- Pastor Ted, played by the brother from Jericho. I've seen him play enough creepy dudes on other shows now that I can believe he is indeed the Nightingale. Particularly the way Meghan is all freaked out about him.
They do finally explain why they're chasing down leads in 2016 instead of the past- because if Frank stumbles around in the past, he could keep on changing things and making things more difficult to figure out. So better to figure out everything in 2016, and then Raimy can just give her dad an airtight case wrapped in a bow and then it will be okay for him to nip things in the bud.
It does sound like this show isn't getting renewed though, so I can only hope they resolve things before the end.
Criminal Minds- Ugh, this guy! Freaking Mr Scratch, man, effing with the team's families. That's over the line! I mean, Foyet went after Hotch's family, but at least he was kinda straightforward about it. Like, he was just going to kill them. Freaking Mr Scratch goes for all these overly elaborate psychological games. Freaking using his weird mind tricks to make some guy think he's Tara's brother. And then having the crazy trap at the location of her real brother? Its like, come off it.
Hopefully they catch him before any of the team's loved ones get offed. Like I get this is a drama, but not every show has to be so damned dark. I just want them solving crimes without having to worry about their families getting targeted!
