Supergirl-Wok-wok! (Since some people think I'm spelling "sad trombone sound" wrong, I'll just say "sad trombone sound") So Alex comes out to Kara, and Kara is weird about it, which Alex reads as Kara not be accepting. But as she finds out, Kara is worried that because Alex grew up having to take care of and protect Kara, she didn't get time to process her lesbian feelings. But once that's cleared up, Alex goes up to Maggie and kisses her!
Only Maggie doesn't think its wise for them to date, since Alex is just starting to figure things out. So Alex feels like a fool and has a big cry with her sister. (Hopefully fans don't jump down Maggie's throat, because people have no damn patience sometimes. Its called plot! Maggie and Alex will prolly end up together eventually, but its prolly going to be a slow burn.
The freak of the week is Parasite, and he temporarily takes out Kara and MM. Kara heals on her own, but Alex has to get M'gann to show up and give him a transfusion. Which, hopefully, nothing bad happens from white martian and green martian blood mixing. Because if there is, she shoulda said something!
Anyways, so while they're waylaid, Jimmy and Mon-El go ahead and take him on. Mon-El didn't want to at first, like Kara finds out he's become a legbreaker for a bookie. So she's like really disappointed in him. So when she's temporarily out, he decides to help out.
Meanwhile, because Kara's down, Jimmy and Wynn decide to finally put the Guardian suit through its paces. Kara still ends up being the one to defeat Parasite though. Heh, I was thinking, shouldn't she just be able to use X-ray vision to discover Guardian is Jimmy, but looks like his suit is lead lined.
After that's over and done with, Mon-El goes to help a bum. But it turns out its a trap, and he gets grabbed by Cadmus!
