Owel, what a weekend. Went to Copeland's on Friday night with the roomie, my cycloptic friend, sis, and Andy for his b-day. I really need to get something other than the chicken alfreadux every time. Saturday was the wedding party (one year late, so shouldn't it be a 1st anniversary?) for [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out and his little lady. It was at Anthony's, next to Fogo on Piedmont. Rode up there with Krug, Andy, the GMA, and Joseph. Happened to get there with [livejournal.com profile] ladygzb and [livejournal.com profile] dholliday right behind us, and Austina was right behind them. After trying to find the right party, we find where we're supposed to be, and hook up with Chris, Tara, and w00ter and start hitting the bar. Bob and [livejournal.com profile] phatjoe eventually joined us during cocktail hour. Was pleasantly toasted going into dinner, as the bartender was making my rum and cokes with 1/2 rum and 1/2 coke. I should just asked for a splash of coke. Or maybe daav('Just a spla! No sh!!') of rum.

It was a great time. Scott and Sato actually gave out a trivia quiz on themselves for all the guest tables to answer. My table got first place of course. It would be quite disappointing to everyone if I didn't. Austina's table came in second, but there was a Q there that she definitely knew the answer to (since she was the one who taught him to use chopsticks) and another w00ter should know (because he was the one paying the phone bill). Managed to give my speech without screwing up too bad. Well, maybe just a little, since I drew a blank. I had to commit the faux pas of pulling out my index cards to refresh my memory.

Afterwards, went back to our place (Heh, I think Bob crashed the wedding party going on downstairs) for poker. Well, I played DW4. They had an 8 person table, with Andy and Phat Joe joining the usual Poker night suspects. Alas, I believe my lack of sleep and the fluctuating temps has gotten me sick.

Tried this BBQ place near the Windy Hill Fuddrucker's called, dammit, its D-something's BBQ, They're award winning! Sure everyone says it, but they actually have their trophies on display, so they must be good! All kidding aside, it was pretty good. They had the variety of sauces like that one place, but it wasn't a buffet. I was a little skeptical about that, because how can you have many sauces, but limited portions? But they actually gave very hearty portions, so that was cool.

Watched some 3rd season DC eps. Owel, if they're not gonna have Pacey and Joey hook up at the finale, they should at least put him back with Andie. I mean, they never resolved that, she still was in love with him even after she came back from Europe for graduation. I heard they were gonna hook them up with some random girl he went to HS with. Why don't they just hook him back up with her? That would be a bearable ending at least.

Owel, played DW4 and got Guan Yu's 10th by myself. I dunno, I just wanted to see if I could do it, since its un-possibly hard.

Famous Dave's.

Good sauces, and I found their portions deceptively large.

actually, it wouldn't make a difference if w00ter knew that or not, since he wasn't seated at that table--his table was next to you, while austina's table was in a different room--those really must have been good roman cokes!
