TV commentary:

Legends of Tomorrow- So what's the secret? While the rest of the team is off trying to retrieve Atom and Citizen Steel from Feudal Japan, Jax and Stein find out there's a secret compartment in the Waverider. Its full of future guns and a recording from 2056 Barry for Rip, telling him not to tell the team. We don't hear the secret, but it has Firestorm perturbed.

In Japan, Ray accidentally loses his armor to an evil Shogun, who's set to marry some girl who caught Nate's eye. Nate wants to protect her from the guy, since the history books say he has a habit of killing his wives. Which, I get he doesn't want her to die, but he seems to have no compunction about interfering with the timeline. Its weird though, because I guess this lady and her dad end up being ancestors of Katana. But I presume not a direct ancestor, since it sounded like Masako was going to die if they didn't land there. Though if she was, then how could Katana have existed until the Legends saved Masako?

Anyways, Ray has Nate destroy the Atom suit since that's the only way to defeat the bad guy. Ray is upset that it had to come to that because he felt that's the only thing he brings to the table. Can he not build a new suit? I presume he has the schematics. And they have a freaking time machine, I'm sure they could use it to find the components he needs to build a new suit.

Also weird, why did they act like ninjas being real is a big deal? Like Sara said, she's basically a ninja. Or rather, ninja are the Japanese version of her and the league. They're not a myth like Vixen thought, and while cool, are not some sort of super mystical ultimate bad-asses like Mick thought. They exist historically!

Vixen and Sara make a cool team though, hopefully she sticks around for a while.

Supernatural- You know, while I've always like young Mary, older Mary is kinda MILF-y. Heh, it didn't take her long to take off though- I guess when she was given back to the boys, they pulled a Buffy? Like, that's kinda messed up for her to get ripped from heaven like that then.

She ends up having to leave because she needs time to deal and reconcile her version of the boys and John because lest we forget, apparently in the show's version of heaven, people just replay their greatest hits with facsimiles of their loved ones, which I always found weird and disturbing. So you're not spending forever with the people you love, just idealized versions of them? That's terrible!

But yeah, to her John wasn't this hardened jerk, Dean was just a little boy and Sam a baby! Grown up hunter versions of them, and John being dead is just too much for her, and she needs to process.

Oh, and Rowena increases the rotting process on Lucifer, and then drops him in the bottom of the ocean to make it difficult for him to jump bodies. Why the hell hire Rick Springfield to be his vessel if it was just going to be for two eps, and he barely got to do anything as him?
