TV commentary:

Arrow- Digg is ridiculous. Him wanting to stay in jail to "atone" is such bs, I'm glad he finally got over it. Having to shoot his brother sucks. But he did all he could do for his brother- Andy was unrepentant, and outright said if Diggle didn't kill him he would continue to come after his wife and child. It was basically self defense!

The Ragman stuff, honestly, I can see why he wanted to quit. And it doesn't have anything to do with Felicity. I mean, his whole motivation was, "Bad guys nuked my town, and now I want revenge!" As it was while bad guys launched a nuke, Felicity redirected it. Now, I'm not saying its her fault, or that he should blame her. As it was, she made a decision in the heat of the moment to kill tens of thousands instead of millions. But I think the fact that that's what happened takes a little wind out of his sails.

Now, there are still bad guys who need to be fought, all I'm saying is that I can see how his motivation wasn't what it once was. Also, what's up with his obscure powers?! Apparently, he can stand up to powerful explosions and gunfire. So when Wild Dog was left behind, and the others wanted to go after him, Quentin was all, "what are you crazy?! Tobias will kill you!" Would he kill Ragman? What could he do, it seems like Ragman could just charge in, grab Wild Dog, and run away!

Criminal Minds- Poor Reid! Just when it seemed like things were looking up with his mother's illness, things come crashing down, with her being cut from the study due to budget cuts. Rossi tells him he should actually go and be with his mother, rather than waste the time he still has trying to find some miracle cure. He doesn't seem to listen though.

I mean, he doesn't have to give up, but can't he try to make calls and try to arrange discussions from Las Vegas?

SVU- You know, sometimes it annoys me when the shows tries to make things grey, because I feel its freaking harmful overall. Like why make things obscure for "drama". By cutting from them in the bathroom to the British guy pulling him off her but having the audience not know what happened, some people will come out of this episode thinking the guy just got railroaded.

I'm not saying we need to see the actual rape, but instead of hearing his story of what happened, they could've actually shown what he was saying- she was drunk, they went outside, she fell and maybe she did laugh about it, but then just pass out while he was still flirting with her, but then still continue while she was obviously unconscious, then you skip ahead and cut to the guy pulling him off of her.

And then having the conflicting accounts at the party, but even worse was having her cousin know Ellis and have a bad breakup with him. I mean, I feel they were trying to act like, sure, even though she has a grudge against him, that doesn't mean he didn't rape her cousin. Or with the guests or his family thinking nothing was going on, the show was trying to be all, no matter how innocent/normal it seems, banging an unconscious person is rape! The problem is, I feel instead of getting those points across, some people will still be all, "Oh, that bitch cousin poisoned her against him!" or "Those people are right, he didn't mean any harm!" and such attitudes will continue.

Why does the show feel the need to be apologetic to rapists, to make it seem like it can be a "little thing" that just spirals out of control? Until you draw a line, people will still just let behavior grow. We don't need grey, we need black and white! Even if life is grey, drawing those boundaries in fiction will lead to better attitudes and decision making!
