TV commentary:

Vampire Diaries- So we find out what's been going on with Damon and Enzo. As we saw at the end of last season, they'd been cutting a bloody swath, but to be fair, they seem to trying to target bad guys. Well, trying to be the operative word. They've been taking targets of opportunity, feeding the reprehensible ones (like a guy selling his dying grandma's meds, and a murderer) to the entity from the vault, and granting the gf of the former a quick death.

Its interesting, because we assumed they were possessed by some sort of evil, and they do seem to be under control. Though they do have some measure of freedom- Enzo eventually leaves little bread crumbs for the gang to find, a clue to what's controlling them (some sort of siren?) while Damon has been resigned to his fate. He acts like they deserve what's happened to them, being killers and all, and warns Enzo. Not only for leaving clues, but for dangerously revealing he has something he still cares about. Damon says he's let Stefan and Elena go, though that seems to be a lie, but I guess he's worried about the siren finding out he still loves them. We see he does still hold his memory of first meeting Elena close to his chest.

So I guess the siren will do something bad to anything they hold dear?

As for the rest of the gang, Bonnie's been slowly falling apart after losing the two people she cares most about, and she was about to lose hope, but luckily Enzo dropped those clues to keep her going. Caroline and Stefan are together, while Alaric is running the Armory. Actually, I was confused if he was running the Armory, or if the Armory is dunzo, and he has some graduate students investigating the Armory as if it were some sort of research find. One of the students is Claudia from WH13, who seems to have a crush on him. But he claims to only have time for his kids.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Interesting, I had to look up my notes to get a refresher on what happened with Greg after watching this. So looking up my last post about the show, Rebecca tries to tell him she loves him, but he was too drunk to respond.

Anyways, so the premiere, Josh is freaked out about what Rebecca said. It seems like she's able to recover, but truthfully, Josh is disturbed and is really only around for the sex and because he now has no place to live because he let Valencia have the apartment. Flashforward, and they're been in a "relationship" for a few weeks now, and its obvious it means more to the Bekster than it does Josh.

We find out Greg has been AWOL this whole time. We think its because he knows about Josh and Rebecca. But turns out, its not. Rebecca seems to be under the impression things feel off with Josh because Greg doesn't know about her and Josh.

She ropes Paula into helping her track Greg down, and turns out, the reason he's been AWOL is because he got in trouble after being so drunk at the wedding and was sent to court mandated AA therapy. Rebecca and Paula secretly see his meeting, where he admits to himself he is an alcoholic.

So now Rebecca doesn't know what to do, because she can't drop this bomb on him. But this reveal does help out Paula. She discovers helping Rebecca with this stuff is her drug, and while she still wants Rebecca and herself to be friends, she can't do this stuff anymore. She ends up writing a legal brief to iron out their friendship, which seems weird at first, but its actually a good thing. Turns out, she's really good at briefs, and Rebecca is impressed. So looks like Paula is inspired to go to law school?
