Criminal Minds- Yay, Emily is finally back! Interesting though, they already changed the credits! Which isn't that a spoiler for the like 5 people living under a rock who don't have the internet and don't know Thomas Gibson was fired and Hotch is gone? I mean, with Hotch on "special assignment" and Emily being all, "she's just hear temporarily", given she's back on the credits and he's not seems like the points to something big happening.
Wild case though. So the unsub has what he thinks is a sexually provocative adoptive sister, and ends up getting all hot for her, but then finds out she's actually his secret mom? Whoops!
Also, what's with the weirdness about Alves being in the 75th Ranger regiment? Like he mentioned it during the stakeout and Emily got all silent. Its not like its an obscure outfit, its the freaking Rangers! Besides, if something tragic happened that affected the ENITRE regiment, that would be big news. I can understand their consternation if he was part of a specific unit that something happened with. But he said, "I was with the 75th", they're like 3500-strong! So if he was involved in something that happened with his particular squad or platoon or whatever, the 75th has several dozen different ones, I don't think she would assume he was with the particular unit that experienced something.
I mean, its especially weird he doesn't want anyone to know, which to me points to something tragic. Otherwise, why wouldn't he be proud of being a Ranger? Its one of the hardest training regimens in the world? Being an actual Ranger commands respect!
