TV commentary:
PLL- Seriously, they've been through how many years of this and they still haven't learned to take certain precautions? So thanks to some sleuthing, they're lead to a property owned by Noel's family, near to where Hanna was being held. Spencer and Em find a flash drive with videos of the girls being messed with by Noel Khan while they were in the dollhouse (well, technically, 5 folders, one for Spencer, Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Mona, and Spencer's has vid files from the dollhouse, we have no idea what's actually in those other folders) and they apparently did not immediately make several copies!? Because sure enough, it gets stolen from Spencer at her house!!
Also dumb, that they didn't want to go to the police because Hanna was "off the grid" and the Liars felt they should do this together?! Why?! There is really no reason Hanna needed to be there. Closure? Mona was on that file too, they weren't, we should wait for Mona! They should know by now that sitting on something just gives the people messing with them time to screw them over.
Hanna does make some boneheaded moves of her own. Or does she? She ends up tailing Noel, and see him dump a bag which she recovers and sees contains Sara's phone. So she has a plan to trap Noel with a beer dosed with crushed up pills (not sure how she was going to transport his KO-ed ass from the bar to her lair). Which, that seemed pretty dumb, all, "Hey, please definitely drink this beer I bought and had on hand before you got here!" My hope was that it was always Hanna's plan to make him drop his guard by making him think he foiled her roofie plan, so he didn't expect her to sneak up on him and brain him with a bat like she did. I'd prefer it was all part of a master plan, rather than a, "Crap, the drugging thing didn't work, lemme just follow him and crack him in the head!"
Anyways, all this stuff isn't doing wonders for Em's relationship with Sabrina, because all this cloak and dagger makes Emily incredibly suspicious. But she does fess up to Paige that things are happening again. In the end, when things fall to shit, she calls Paige for comfort. She was at the brew at the time, I'm hoping they weren't implying Paige was spying on Sabrina out of jealousy.
Finally, we get confirmation that Aria and Jason were going out during the timeskip. They eventually broke up when Aria went to work for her publisher. Jason is no fool, and figured out pretty quickly that it was Ezra's publisher. Back then, Aria lied and was all, its just a coincidence, those places are big and the chances of her bumping into him are nil. But in the present, she admits she totally went their in the hopes of reconnecting with Ezra.
Speaking of, Nicole is not one of the hostages found. Also, Jason and Aria did some sleuthing of their own, and get their hands on a redacted adoption file of Mary's other kid. Since its redacted, they have no idea of the child's identity. But Aria sees the adoption file was signed by Noel's judge father (his father is a judge?!), making her think Noel is the child. But since its not the season finale, I'm guessing that's a red herring and Noel totally isn't the kid.
