From Dusk Till Dawn- Finished this up tonight, so I'm all caught up for the 3rd season in a month. Although the thing that blows my mind is I just found out Scott is the fricking little kid from Tropic Thunder/young Storm Shadow in the first GIJoe movie. Like I didn't think those movies were that long ago, but apparently they were!
Interesting though, the 2nd season actually ended at a good stopping point. I'm curious if they weren't sure there was going to be a 3rd season. Like they still left hooks in for if they decided to continue, but for the most part, things ended fine. The Geckos were in charge of the Culebra empire, Santanico was free, Freddie was satisfied that the Culebras were under control under the Geckos and could go back to his family. Sex Machine basically bowed out of Carlos' plan for being pedestrian, so the only one of the main folks that things ended bad for were the Fuller kids, what with Kate being dead, and I guess Scott most likely being directionless. Like he switched from Carlos side, to the "good" guys, but he lost his sister.
But yeah, in the end, the Santa Sangre seems to resurrect Kate (which damn girl, you really laid into Richie and Scott on your death bed!), while Carlos gets dismembered and scattered (since conquering the labyrinth apparently makes him invulnerable to staking). Which Maia was in the shadows about to help, but he waves her off, so it seems like he has a plan.
So, while I definitely want to see what's going on with Kate, like I said, if the show did get cancelled, things mostly seemed resolved for everyone else. It will be interesting to see how everyone gets brought back together for the 3rd season.
