TV commentary:
From Dusk Till Dawn- Since I finished the Borgias, started watching this. Weird, I did not know Fez and Robert Patrick (who plays Harvey Kietel's role) were in this. Also, Don Johnson as perennially killed off Robert Rodriguez character Earl Mcgraw. (Actually, I guess he doesn't die in Kill Bill or Death Proof, although I guess those were actually Tarantino movies, and maybe he only dies in Rodriguez films?) Other people in this? Jake Busey as Sex Machine, Maria from Saved by the Bell the New Class as the teller Richie kidnaps (in an obviously bigger role here). Oh and Adrianne Palicki shows up for a couple of eps.
Its interesting so far. Like obviously they stretch things out a bunch given its about to start its third season, but there's definitely a lot of stuff recognizable from the movie. And he, I think DJ Cotrona does seem to do a good job mimicking Clooney from the movie. Though TV-show Richie is scarier/creepier and more competent seeing than the movie. Also, I haven't actually gotten to the Geckos meeting the preacher and his family, but so far its a little weird that people ship Richie and Kate, given Richie is a crazy wack job, and Kate seems way too young for him.
PLL- Ha, is Ali blind?! Seriously, that wasn't even a good mask AD or whoever the fake cop was was wearing. Like it looked like the mask Ryan Gosling was wearing in Drive, all creepy and fake. But what the hell, the liars apparently haven't learned their lesson. They think the person terrorizing them is Archie/Elliot, still alive even though he went through their freaking windshield. I mean, Ali and whoever that other girl was who ended up being buried in the backyard way back when, they got clobbered and were knocked out, which is a far cry from being hit by a car.
But yeah, the morons go to check the grave, which is indeed occupied, forgetting that there's always someone watching them, and thus there's now footage of them at Archie's grave.
And seriously? The show purposely had Shower Harvey's body found in the shower just to troll the fans. But yeah, she's dead, possibly killed for saying too much to Emily and saying she's trying to protect her. Was it Jenna? Prolly not. But we do find out how she ties into things. Apparently she was friends with Charlotte and Archie and helped get the ball rolling on their plan?
But ha, Aria told Fitz "she'd think about it", because she was worried that she would be arrested for Elliot's death. She ends up telling Ezra something, but we don't hear what exactly it was. About his possibly dead fiancee's call? About the Elliot thing? Apparently its not enough to dissuade him because I guess he asks again, and this time Aria says yes?
