Just caught the end of From Hell on HBO. That scene in the end where the Ripper finishes with his last victim, and he has that hallucination where he's in front of the rest of the Masons and they all start clapping, that always creeped me out. Not in a scary way, I just always thought it was very macabre. Of course, now whenever I see similar acts in other movies, I always hear this faint round of applause in my head. As for really scary images, the Ring always scared the crap out of me. Mebbe its because I watch too much TV. But that image of Samara slowly crawling out of the hole and slowly stalking towards the TV is very freaky. And unlike those slow stalkers like Jason and Michael Myers, she can go all Matrix fast.
