TV commentary:

Game of Thrones- Well, those are some interesting developments. So Meera and Bran are saved by his uncle Benjen. So apparently when he went ranging back in S1, he and his party got attacked by Walkers, and he was stabbed with an ice sword. But the children saved him and stopped the transformation by stabbing him in the heart with dragon glass.

Samwell's homecoming could've gone better. Sam tells Gilly to keep mum on the whole Wildling thing, since his dad despises her kind. Unfortunately, his dad berates him all throughout dinner, so Gilly defends him, telling the story of how he killed a White Walker north of the wall, which kinda outs her as a Wilding. His father is pissed, but will take in Gilly as a maid and raise Sam Jr in the household, but he can never set foot in the house again.

Samwell finds his courage that night, and says he and Gilly and little Sam are getting out of there, but he freaking steals his family sword along the way! What is he thinking?!

In Braavos, Arya is about to poison her mark, but eventually can't go through with it because she likes her too much. Since she failed yet again, she retrieves Needle and gets ready to leave. And it seems like the Waif is tasked with taking her out, a task she seems quite pleased with.

Back in King's Landing, I guess the High Sparrow managed to crack Margery (unless she's playing the long game), who in turn gets Tommen under the Sparrow's sway. Mace and Jaime show up at Margery's walk of atonement, demanding she be freed. But the Sparrow reveals she is not going to walk. Not because of their show of force, but because Tommen has decided to ally with the Sparrow. That can't be good!

Anyways, Jaime has been kicked off the King's Guard, and sent to lead an army to help the Frey take back Riverrun from the Blackfish. Jaime wants to be in King's Landing for Cersei's trial. Cersei think its no big, its a trial by combat, and she has the Mountain. Which, since she's all cocky about it makes me think things won't turn out too well. Heh, also, Jaime wanted to pay Bronn to gather up a bunch of the best mercenaries to kill the High Sparrow. Which, does he know Bronn? Bronn is a mercenary, but he's also extremely pragmatic and self-serving. Bronn's not dumb enough to go against the Faith Militant right now, no matter how much Jaime pays him!

Finally, across the sea, Dany gets Drogon back, which prolly does a lot of good for her in terms of her popularity amongst the Dothraki. I mean, they saw her survive a conflagration unscathed, having a dragon is just icing on the cake. Which, I'm amused she's giving her speech on the dragon, asking her men if they're with her. Its like, dude, you're on top of a giant dragon, no one is going to disagree with you!
