TV commentary:

Arrow- Well, they're in trouble now! So the nuke made the news, but while people are panicked, they do seem more chill than you'd expect about a random Russian nuke exploding over a US city. Anyways, Anarky is still causing problems, not to mention Arrow and Spartan infiltrating the complex. While having Merlyn take care of Arrow and Spartan makes sense, they had Ruve freaking take care of Anarky while Damien managed things at the plant where they were trying to regain control of the program that would allow them to launch more nukes.

That seems ridiculous! Hmm, maybe you should've sent the normal lady mayor handle supervisory type shit and have the invincible dude with the mysterious powers take care of Anarky?! Sure enough, Ruve ends up dying, but not before making Ollie to promise to take care of her daughter before they narrowly escape the Hive being destroyed.

Since Dahrk is not there, I guess he assumes both his wife and child died, and so did everyone else they deemed worthy to ride out the apocalypse. Needless to say, he's pissed, and shows up at Felicity's where she, Donna, and Curtis are (Calculator having been sent away by Donna after helping Felicity defeat her hacker ex-bf whom I totally though was dead). I'm sure he'll capture them to try and seek revenge!

Also, I'm confused by the flashbacks. Is the totem they stole from the one guy the same thing Dahrk uses, or something similar. Anyways, its corrupting Ollie's lady friend. And the annoying thing about this flash back is obviously Ollie survives this. Did he not get any relevant experience from this well, experience, that could help fighting Dahrk?

SVU- Hopefully, Barba didn't really do that?! I get he didn't want to show fear to the potential assassin, but I would think he was not stupid enough to write down his actual address to show he's not afraid. I mean, they prolly know it already, I'm sure they have the resources to find out where he lives (I doubt its something normally hidden, you could prolly just look it up in a directory), but why risk it?

The Americans- What the what?! What the hell did the Russians want with Gaad? And wow, how much trouble is that team in, having accidentally killed him! I forgot Gaad had had conversations with the head of the Rezidentura, and while they were enemies, I think there was a mutual respect there that Arkady would not have been pleased.

Anyways, the biggest scare of the ep was Pastor Tim disappearing in Ethopia. Alice is freaked, thinking the Jennings had the Ruskies put a hit out on him while he was out of the country. To be fair, its not out of the realm of possibility. And Paige thinks so too. Which heh, after Alice leaves, the confrontation between Paige and her parents is both tense and hilarious. Like dude, when Paige broaches the subject of them being behind it, Elizabeth looks like she was about to slap the taste out of her daughter's mouth, all, "What the fuck did you just say?!!"

Also hilarious is when Paige wonders what they'll do if they have to run, "What are we going to do, go to Russia and speak Russian?!" HA!! That line just cracked me up. And honestly, what do they expect, Paige was raised in America! Its like no offense to Russia, but if I had a choice between which one I'd want to live with in the early 80s, its no contest. America's awesome. Like what's there to do in Russia but be cold and not have awesome material stuff like you can in the USA!

It was a false alarm, with Pastor Tim having run out of gas and him and his companion deciding to hike it back. In freaking Ethopia! But he survives. Also hilarious, Paige shows up at the Beemans looking for Henry, and Matt's there, and its obvious he has a crush on her. So he drives her to her church group to earn points, but since she has the whole, parents might get outed as Russian spies to worry about, she's more concerned about talking to Alice, leaving Matt to talk to some rando about church stuff he could give a shit about.

Interestingly enough, Matt tells Paige about his dad talking to Martha's dad. Not that she knows who Matt's dad's boss' secretary is, so she doesn't think to mention it. But if she did, I figure her parents would be interested. That, and maybe want her to start using his loose lips to get the down low on what Stan's doing.

Which is funny, because they bring back Kimberly (hey, looks like Clarke's still working that). He's just doing a routine switch out of the tape hidden in her dad's briefcase while getting high with her. And she casually confesses her father doesn't work for the State Department, he's really with the CIA. Clarke pretends to act surprise, and then chastises her for telling him. I guess looking to his own family relationship, he tells her her dad telling her is good, its something they can share to grow closer.

Supernatural- Well, this ep started out cool. So to try and beat Amara, they made a big ass coalition of the willing- the angels, Crowley and the demons, and Rowena and some witches. Heh, the power level of witches escapes me on this show. Obviously some of them like Rowena are centuries old and have great power. Ida know, but they're still mortal compared to freaking angels and demons. I guess magic might make them more powerful than a rank and file demon.

But still, I get Rowena seemingly betraying the group seemed plausible, so she and her witches where the ones who were supposed to draw first blood, but it seems they drew the short end of the stick. Rowena's pretty powerful for sure, and she talks about channeling the power of other witches, but it was like 5 others. What the hell is that going to do comparatively?! And they got hit with a feedback that killed all of them but Rowena!

Compare that to the angels, who were sitting pretty just doing one of their mass super smites from the safety of heaven, and the demons swirling around her and beating her up and running away. Its like they had the most fragile people take the only counter attack from Amara?

In any case, Amara is beaten down, but just when it seems like she's going to get re-trapped, her rage gives her the strength to overcome her brother, mortally wounding him, as well as killing Lucifer. So looks like she's going to win and destroy the universe? Which really isn't a cliffhanger, since obviously they'll figure out a fix in the season finale.

Which how is there another season of this? Like where do you go from here? They fought god's sister, who presumably has comparative power levels (she does say when it was just the two of them, they couldn't really define power levels, because there was nothing else on the scale to compare it to. Which is one of her accusations, of creating weaker beings to make himself seem bigger in comparison). Like what's a threat after this?
