Arrow- I wonder how they're going to address that, because that seems like a pretty huge deal! So Felicity ropes her dad in to stopping Darhk's plan of trying to launch a bunch of nukes. They manage to stop all but one, which actually ends up wiping out a small town (but they at least directed it away from a more populated area that would've been within where Darhk set up his circle of death absorption to try and use those dead to fuel his power)
Like the POTUS knows what was going on, and I'm sure other world leaders did to. But to the rest of the world, Russia just freaking nuked an American city! Surely there would be grave political consequences. Its world shaking news!
SVU- Hey, its Alex Mack! I was just thinking the other day, my list of favorite TV actresses is still:
1) Amy Acker
2) Larisa Oleynik
3) Autumn Reeser
4) Beth Riesgraf
5) Dichen Lachman
6) Bridget Regan
I dunno, I just get eggcited when any of these ladies guest star in a show I watch. Heh, since I'll always love Alex Mack, I was quite angry at the villains of the week trying to throw her under the bus. I mean, they still destroyed her career, but yeah, how dare they hurt such a cutie!
Supernatural- Heh, that was a short appearance! So Chuck proves he's god by having Kevin show up for like less than a minute before sending him off to heaven. Anyways, there's a new prophet, played by Holtz from Angel. Ha, I did crack up when he said he was named Donatello, and Dean was like, the teenage mutant ninja turtle?!
But, I was suspicious about the look Metatron gave Chuck last week, I figured it was because Chuck said he was going to sacrifice himself in his autobiography. Metatron confirms it this week, telling the Winchesters of Chuck's plan. So, they decide to rescue Lucifer and hope that will convince Chuck to fight back.
So they do, but Metatron sacrifices himself to do so. It will be interesting to see the dynamic between Chuck and Casifer next week.
The Americans- Weird, they made "The Day After" a big deal, with every character watching it. I definitely remember the movie when I was a kid, and its pretty appropriate for the show. I didn't realize it was as watched as it was. Heh, we do finally find out what "Patty"'s plan for Young-Hee is. Well, we find out what she planned to do, but not why. She ends up seducing Young Hee's husband, or rather, making it look like they slept together. To what end, we still don't know.
But Elizabeth does seem quite upset by the mission, saying she's going to miss Young Hee and the friendship she had with her.
EDIT- I apparently missed the part where apparently Young Hee's husband can provide the code William needs for "Level 4" access?
Speaking of, it was interesting to see him have reservations about his work. I mean, the Jennings think they're protecting their country, to stop the Americans from using it against them. But William, actually working the lab, I think has a better perspective. His American colleagues have no plans to actually use any of this stuff, they're not homicidal maniacs! But, they're also paranoid, just like their Russian counterparts. They're doing this research to protect themselves from the Soviets, thinking they're working on stuff like this themselves. Which is sadly amusing, because the Soviets only know about this stuff from the Americans!
