TV commentary:

Legends of Tomorrow- Heh, why the name change? So Vandal's daughter in this is named Cassandra? Did they feel Scandal Savage would sound too goofy? Or does he have another daughter in canon?

But yeah, as soon as they showed the super weapon being a giant robot, I figured they'd have Ray "reverse the polarity" and turn into a giant to fight it.

And what do you know, they managed to capture Vandal Savage! But in a surprise twist, he found the Carter of the current time and brainwashed him, locking his mind away so if Kendra kills Vandal, they'll never be able to get Carter back to normal.

At first I was thinking, just kill the both of them, wait for Carter to reincarnate, hopefully with his memories intact. But I guess 1) I'm presuming whatever Vandal did won't carry over to the next reincarnation and 2) I have no idea if finally killing Vandal for real stops the cycle. Like if they get their revenge, is that it for them?

And another curiosity. Does that Carter not have a Kendra because she's gone from the timeline currently? Like I guess since she hasn't died yet, there won't be another her until she does.

Orphan Black- Heh, some funny developments. So the rest of the sisters find out about Sarah's implant. Since apparently all neolutionists get it, Alison thinks Leekie might have one, and they can take the one out of him to study since he's dead already and they don't have to worry about accidentally killing him removing it. So she and Donnie dig him up out of the garage.

Unfortunately, the cops come around investigating the deaths of those mobsters Helena killed, since one of her campaign buttons was left behind at the scene. Since Ali and Donnie are out in the garage, Helena answers the door and they think she's Alison. Donnie eventually joins her, and they start asking about her campaign staff and anyone else who might have had a button. They get angry when Donnie tries to answer, saying they were asking his wife. He tells them he doesn't think they can legally do anything about that though, if they're talking to them together, even if they address "Alison". Which I wonder if that's true. In any case, they continue to press Helena, and she rattles all the names off.

Which, later, Donnie is asking Alison how Helena knew that, and she plays it off as "Oh, she's an assassin, she can do stuff like that!" WTF?! I'm sure observational skills are important, and maybe Helena saw it once. But they're freaking products of mysterious science. There isn't a part of her wondering if Helena knowing that info has something to do with their connection?!

But ha, they finally tell Cosima about having access to an implant, with Donnie admitting he killed Dr Leekie. Which, heh, will they tell the rest of the seestras? I can't wait to see those conversations.

Other stuff, like I get Sarah wants answers, but she keeps blundering on like a bull in a china shop. Like she isn't more cautious despite she might have clones she might not even know about out there who've met/been seen by people she's talking to, and she wouldn't even know she's blown or she's walking into a trap! Like this ep, she finds someone who could possibly remove the implant, whom Beth apparently questioned. And Sarah blindly trusts the lady despite not knowing the true nature of their relationship!

So sure enough, the lady acts like she's going to remove it, but then holds her hostage by keeping a surgical tool dangerously close to the impant- apparently messing with it releases a lethal dose of poison. She's going to keep "Beth" their until her superiors get there. Sarah is lucky Mrs. S ended up meeting with Ferdinand earlier, and he shows up and slits the lady's throat. Actually, it would be hilarious if the people she called ended up being the mysterious paramedics, and they were all, "G-D, its Sarah again!"

Also, last week, I totally missed that the mysterious thing Felix had going on was meeting his real birth family. Apparently he has a half sister, who's dad knocked his mom up. Sarah wants his help with clone stuff, but Felix blows her off. He's tired of everything about her and needs to handle his own stuff. Hilariously, Sarah is all, "she's prolly a neo spy!" Which might actually be true, with their track record.

Oh, Kira is acting really weird, going into random fugue states, but no one else seems to notice. Since she's just a kid, they've been chalking it up to her being tired.

We also see Rachel again, and she, Charlotte, and Ira (which I was curious why he wasn't glitching like his brothers, but apparently that indeed is a mystery to be addressed this season) are cooped up wherever the hell they are, and Rachel's mom was apparently gone for a couple of months between the end of last season and this ep, so Rachel was quite annoyed at that. And all their scenes are hilariously awkward and passive aggressive and made all the more weird given how creepy Charlotte and Ira are.
