TV commentary:

12 Monkeys- Hey, what do you know? So we discover Cassie's time in the future has made her hard. She totally just wants to smoke Jennifer and Ramse, but Cole won't let her. They do manage to destroy the all the current vials of the virus. Which they feel definitely changes something (and in the future Jones sees things change around her, being apart from the time stream like the others since she also took the injections). But since Cole and Ramse are still around, they're curious as to why that is.

Cassie wants to extract, and again, execute Cole and Jennifer. Cole says no, so she uses the injection meant for Cole on Ramse so they can interrogate him, and then abandons him there in the past. In the future, Ramse's outlook isn't so good since they have Deacon torture him for info about the 12 Monkeys. But Ramse reveals he visited Deacon's family in the past, and saved his mom by calling the cops on his dad. Which, interesting, presumably he changed Deacon by doing that? I mean, while Deacon still seems like a dick, he seems to be more part of the group than he used to be. Like he and Cassie seem to even be on friendly terms. At first I thought it was just camaraderie from working together for 8 months trying to fix the machine so they could send her back. But they mention Deacon's relationship with the group in the future is definitely different.

Anyways, one good thing for Ramse, his son is still alive. Though new hard-ass Cassie seems to imply she's willing to get to him through his son. Ramse honestly has nothing to tell them, or at least he doesn't think he knows anything more.

But yeah, the changes. So, the plague still happens, but they do manage to delay it a few years. But that one doctor guy doesn't end up getting killed when they took down the other place for their core, so he's alive. And to Jones' surprise, there's a new guy played by Colonel Tighe. Which whoops, apparently they were a couple, and not she has no memory of him? He takes it in stride, relishing the chance to make her fall in love with him again.

They're troubled Cassie burning the vials in 2016 didn't end the plague, only delayed it. But they suspect it has something to do with all those people they were forced to send back.

In the present, Jennifer's crazy rantings lead them to a hotel. She keeps focusing on 607. Which Cole first thinks has to do with present (past?) Jones' phone number. But she says he needs to be in room 607 because its prime, but management gives him Room 210 because 607 is a permanent residence. Cole doesn't care what room he gets, and frankly is getting tired of Jennifer's craziness. Some guys spots them in the lobby without their knowledge, and it seems ominous at first (maybe it still is, but it works out, more on that later)

In the room, Cole cales Jones, who says stop calling, she won't help him because it could destroy the timeline. Meanwhile, Jennifer is pissed because she has no purpose. They stopped her from releasing the virus, then Cole won't listen to her. She attacks him, but then the guy from the lobby knocks on the door. Turns out his family owns the building, and Cole and Cassie paid for the room in perpetuity back in 1945.

Which gives Cole hope, because he and Cassie obviously reconcile and work together again for him to go in the past. Cole manages to calm Jennifer down and sends her off to find her purpose. And we find that purpose in the future!

She has one of her female cultists break into the base and kidnap Jones. Since Jennifer knows exactly where Cole will be after Cassandra basically fired him, she gives them 24 hours to retrieve him, or else. So Cassie does, and he shows her the picture of them together in 1945. So, Cole's back on the team, and I think even new hard-ass Cassie is somewhat pleased that they apparently reconciled in the future since there's evidence of them working together again in the past.
