Major Crimes- I knew it! Like it was obvious Perception TA wasn't the killer, because it was clear the gun was planted. And it was obvious it wasn't Iron Eagle guy, because it seemed too easy for him to be the mastermind, things pointed too much to him. And while it was possible it could be his wife, she was just too tangential to everything for it to be her.
So, the random cop lady who's husband was murdered back in the day and was thus working the case with the squad was the only real choice. That was a bold plan to trap her. I mean, obviously everyone else in the room knew what was going on, and Julio unloaded her gun, but there are still a lot of things that could've gone wrong. Particularly with them using the one kid as sort of bait by having him accuse her.
That was kinda sad though, Julio finally bonded with someone over the death of his wife, someone he was thinking about dating, and she was the bad guy!
