TV commentary:

The Fosters- Hmm, some interesting things this ep. So Monte isn't a predatory Lez. Sally initiated the kiss, and Lena eventually figures out she had been keep tabs on Monte on a dating site- which she would have only been able to do if she was also on said site seeking other woman. Which cuts to the heart of the problem- Sally is still in the closet, and her mother would be none too pleased to find out her little princess is a lesbo.

Not that Monte was doing herself behaviors in the beginning when she claimed Sally initiated it. She didn't want to get anyone involved since Sally's 18, and thus no statch law was broken. (Though Monty is still principal, I would think that's still an ethical issue!) And Stef does think her behavior with Sally over the past couple of weeks seems like grooming.

Of course, it was incredibly suspicious when Lena was going over the options with Sally and her parents, and they didn't actually want to go through the review process. Nope, Sally's mom was all, "No, you should just fire her without any trial, come up with any trumped charges you can, or else!" So Lena implores Sally to reconsider her claim, because she will ruin someone's career for nothing.

The twins stuff continues to be messy and interesting. So, Mariana is working on getting her birth dad of the sex offender registry. So, she implores Ana's mom to write a letter, which according to her research is the only way for Gabe to have a shot of getting off. So, she goes to see him with Ana, and they discuss all this. And Mariana leaves her mom alone with him.

And then Ana shows up at the twins b-day high. So of course her parents blame Gabe, thinking he got her high or something, since he was the one who got her on drugs in the first place back in the day. But, they don't seem to be listening to Ana's words, or the meaning behind them. Ana seems drunkenly upset, talking about a life she could have had with Gabe and the twins, until her parents ruined it.

So I doubt Gabe was giving Ana drugs. My guess is they reconnected, and being with him again stirred up latent feelings, and she thought maybe if her parents hadn't gotten him arrested, they'd be married, and her twins would still be hers. Of course, discounting the age difference and the fact that it was statch for Gabe, he was also still a drug dealer. I'm guessing had he not gotten arrested he would've still been that bad seed. So Ana wouldn't have had that life anyways.

And alas, the long distance thing has finally taken its toll on Jonnor, with them breaking up over Skype. Connor has sent Jude a sext, because that's what his football teammates do with their girlfriends. And I dunno if it was Jude freaking out about sex, but the starts telling Connor how they never really talk anymore (texting doesn't count, he says) and asks if he thinks they only got together because they were the only two gays they knew. Which is BS, I can't believe the show is breaking them up like that, because they seemed to have interest in each other long before they really knew what their sexual preferences were.

Castle- No offense to Courtney Ford, but it was kinda weird for her to make a cameo as herself, I didn't think she was well known enough for Castle to be all, "Oh, hey, Courtney!". Also, I did not know she was Brandon Routh's wife. You learn something new every day!

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Hey, actually good song about bisexuality from Daryl- no, they're not going through a phase and haven't made up their mind yet, nor does being bisexual= wanting to nail everything that moves. Anyways, concerning the main plot. We finally see Rebecca have a true, major problem not Josh-related. Rebecca had been throwing around money like candy throughout the whole show and its finally caught up with her. She's broke!

And she ends up seeing herself as the villain in her own story, feeling incredibly guilty about coming between Valencia and Josh, particularly when she knew Josh was going to tell Valencia about the kiss that night and she overhears Valencia talking on the phone and thinking Josh was finally going to propose. Then she's crushed when she tries to stop Josh from saying anything but then being too late and spying on them and she sees Josh tell Valencia about the kiss and saying he doesn't love Rebecca when Valencia asks about her.

Which, what the hell, I was annoyed that she pawned that ring she'd been wanting from her mom and finally got for being on the news and getting the key to the city for exposing the water scandal for tickets to follow Josh to Hawaii instead of trying to pay her bills. But then after everything falls apart and she's depressed, she still goes to Hawaii even though Josh is no longer going! Why would you waste money like that?!

Other stuff. Greg is an idiot. He thinks he and Heather are cool and she's fine with everything because she broke up with him. But of course she's hurt. She may have told Greg not to settle for her, but that doesn't mean part of her wasn't hoping that he'd choose her, that he'd reassure her he wouldn't be settling and his feelings for her are stronger than they are for Rebecca. So they're still co-workers, and Heather tells him he just has to deal with her being angry/sad.

I totally thought that was referring to a previous Castle episode I didn't remember. Even after looking her up, it seems like a few Dexter episodes is the biggest thing she's ever done? Unless you count Piper in Fallout 4?

I would think her role in True Blood would be considered as big as being the Trinity Killer's daughter in Dexter. But yeah, if even you thought it was a reference to a previous ep rather than a cameo, I'm sure more casual TV watchers would be confused as hell. If this was a show like Entourage, this would make sense, because you kinda expect it. Well, that, or if she was involved with one of the cast members or crew. But since she (and I guess Brandon Routh) are not, it seems totally random!
