NCIS- Hmm, some weird stuff tonight. That was kinda dickish of Gibbs to get all mad at Taft for being unable to save that one shooter. Dude got his aorta severed! Taft is good, but it wasn't one of those guaranteed he'd be able to save the guy's life thing. As Taft said, he used up his miracle on Gibbs previously.
But did the guy's friends really try to blow up Taft and his wife in retaliation for that? That doesn't seem right. Like, the one guy shot his partner, so obviously there's no honor among them. They'd really go through all the risk and trouble just to blow up a surgeon who wasn't able to save a grievously wounded person they know? I mean, they did go from the scene where they wonder about the detonators, to the car exploding and almost killing Taft and his wife. So logic would dictate the show wants to think us those guys set the bomb. But like I said, it seems a bit much. Taft didn't even know those MFers! Maybe there will be something more to it later.
And bringing Jeanne back was weird. Like, when they brought her back when Tony rescued her husband, it seemed like it was a final closure to that relationship, albeit a bittersweet one. Jeanne moved on, but she was happy. But then they bring her back for this, where its obvious there's still longing there. I had heard Tony was leaving the show at the end of the season. Some people are wondering if that's why they randomly brought Jeanne back, that somehow they'd end up together in the end? But what about Ziva? I figured if he left, his leaving would involve going to get with Ziva somehow.
Or is the show bitter about Ziva leaving, so now that Tony is leaving, they're just changing his endgame and putting him with a different love interest?
