Feb. 16th, 2016 09:38 pmWhy the eff do Agent Carter and Rizzoli and Isles have two eps each tonight? Like all I have to fit in tonight is the Flash, PLL, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, iZombie, and Teen Wolf. And then I'll still have NCIS, two hours of Agent Carter, two hours of Rizzoli and Isles, and the Shannara Chronicles.
TV commentary:
The Flash- Kinda telegraphed that ending. So, on Earth-1, Caitlin perfects Velocity-9 to give Jay his powers back to take on Geomancer. However, he only uses it to save a bunch of hospital patients and staff that Geomancer endangers and has to rest. Its actually Cailtin and Iris who capture Geomancer when he attacks Star Labs. His little attack ends up destabilizing the breech Jay and Caitlin just fixed, so they and the Wests have to fix it yet again. Which, of course they were going to be successful, can't leave the star of the show stuck on another world!
On Earth-2, Cisco and Harry explain everything to Barry-2 (who is hilariously dorky), and then have to loop in Iris-2. Barry-2 has a metahuman tracking program (which doesn't work on Zoom, because he's too fast), which they use to find Killer Frost, because Cisco believes he can turn her, as he expects if she loved Deathstorm as much as Caitlin loved Ronnie, she'll want revenge.
Meanwhile, in Zoom's HQ, Jessie is a total debbie downer, but eventually Barry convinces her to stop being so fatalistic. They communicate with the masked guy imprisoned with them, who is some sort of blond, and once Jessie and Barry figure out his knocking, realize he's telling them Jay Garrick's name. And he's apparently very frustrated or even angry with Jay, so its extremely curious what that's all about. Is Jay a secret bad guy?
Anyways, the rescue team manages to get KF's help, and they free Jessie. They are unable to get Barry out at first. Barry had figured he can somehow phase through the cell doors after seeing Zoom do so, but can't do it, until Barry-2 gives him a pep talk. He frees himself just in time for Zoom to show up. However, just as Zoom is about to kill Jessie to punish Harry for his insolence, Killer Frost gets extremely pissed at Zoom once again just being blase about destroying the thing a person loves most in the world right in front of them. So, she holds him off while they escape. Barry wants to rescue the masked guy, but can't. He promises the guy that he'll come back and rescue him, which seems like BS, since it seemed like they were intending to flee to Earth-1 and close the breech behind them.
They get back to STAR labs (the Earth-2 version) and Barry-2 and Iris-2 go to hide in Atlantis, while Cisco, Barry, Harry, and Jessie jump back to Earth-1. Actually, Jessie complains all, "But my friends and life are here!" Its like dude, you've been imprisoned for months, Zoom was just about to kill you and you guys just barely got a way. You don't have a life to go back to until Zoom is gone!
They managed to get to Earth-1 just in time for Jay to close the breech. But then the dumb-ass stands in front of the not yet closed breech as everyone is celebrating. So to no surprise, Zoom sticks his hand through at the last minute and pulls Jay back right before it closes. And that's where we freaking end! Argh!!
