The Expanse- Did I miss something in the previous eps? Like Miller didn't know Julia until the job right, and somehow just obsessively fell in love with her without having ever met her? Or did he coincidentally secretly know her, and thus his obsession isn't as weird?
But hey, he's now with the Cant survivors, so at least there's less separate storylines to keep up with. I'm surprised Julia's actually dead though. Actually, I was surprised she made it to another station. But the fact that she actually made it off the Scopuli, I wasn't expecting her to die off screen.
And heh, I know they wanted revenge for the Cant. But was it really wise to nuke that ship? I mean, I guess they figure nukes destroy anything, but if it was feeding off the energy of the reactor, who knows what a nuclear explosion could do to it!
Still confused what Johnson's role in all this is. Because I've said before, it totally seems like the stealth ships are his, embezzling from the Mormon missionary project. But he honestly seems surprised by the stuff in the recording. Is it those are his ships, but someone else in his organization has taken them and been using them?
Arrow- How the hell did they not see that coming? Like as soon as they showed the guy missing one of his eyeballs, my first thought was, "Okay, they need his eye to break into one of their facilities!" Once they found out about that, they should've revoked his access! Actually, even if he wasn't missing an eyeball, they should've revoked his access as soon as he was dead. But yeah, at the very least, they should've realized Shadowspire was after something in Argus that required a retinal scan.
And ha! People were up in arms that since Felicity was in a wheelchair, they were going to make her Oracle. But they shot that rumor down with Ollie giving her the codename Overwatch, and saying he was going to go with Oracle, but it was already taken.
But WHATTT?!! They killed off Amanda Waller? I figured it had to be some sort of trick, but she's still dead at the end of the ep. I guess its a superhero show, she could always be back somehow. But I figured she couldn't be dead for real, because she's a popular comics character (though I guess they did kill Deadshot), and they wouldn't want to catch flak for killing off a WoC.
Though what do you know, they actually do reference Andy's wife and son. He's just not ready to see them yet. But interesting, so apparently after he decided to start being shady again back in Afghanistan, he met that one guy currently on the Island with Oliver in the most recent flashbacks. Of course, going by the timeline, nothing should really come of that meeting, since the recent flashbacks should be the year right before the beginning of the show, and the Afghanistan flashback is almost a decade prior to that.
