The Expanse- Looks like things are coming together. So Miller, having nothing better to do now, continues to search for Julie Mao. He gets a clue that leads him to Eros station, so he cashes in all the bribes he's taken over the years to get a ticket and head there. Ha, Tavi is all, "You need someone to watch your back, I'll go with you!" but Miller is all, "No, no!" because he somehow fell in love with Julie Mao and has this weird obsession with her and it will be inconvenient if the girl who has a thing for him is around.
But yeah, Eros seems to be at the center of things. That corporate spy Kenzo managed to sneak on to the Rocinante. Which, I'm skeptical, its not that big a ship, even if he hadn't sent that message and got caught, surely they'd run into him eventually! But yeah, they capture him, and he helps them out of a jam. They got flagged by a Martian patrol and are about to get boarded, and Kenzo tells them they're taking the wrong tactic- they shouldn't be trying to fool the patrol into thinking they're not a tanker, they should be pretending to be a covert ops martian warship disguised as a tanker. Alex knows the guy is legit, as he's encountered the situation before- suspicious vessel on patrol, they say something weird, and his captain let's the ship go.
So, they find the secret "hey, idiots, we're a secret Martian covert ops unit, back the eff off before you blow our cover" codes and give them. It is kinda hilarious, since its down to the last second, Alex sees the code words which are ubiquitous, mendacious, and a third crazy word I'm forgetting, so he just has to be fuck it and say all three words one after the other since he can't figure out a clever way to put them in normal conversation. Surprisingly it works, though you'd think with the messiness of it all the Martians would be incredibly suspicious. (or I guess maybe they think this is the worst covert ops team ever)
Kenzo wants to know straight up if they're going to let him go or kill him, but Holden hasn't let him know yet. Amos thinks he should kill him. Which truthfully, might be wise. I mean, he's helpful to them now, but only because he didn't want to get captured by the Martians either. But he's incredibly dangerous (he almost fried Amos through the touch panel, and they don't even know!) and will fuck them over in a heartbeat for his own survival.
But heh, his capture does throw a kink in things. Chrisjen goes to see Holden's mom to figure him out- he doesn't seem like the terrorist he seems to be so she wants to reconcile that. She eventually gets his mom to trust her by telling her about her son that she forced into the Marines as the first step in his road to political service, only for his ass to get killed. Holden's mom reveals she eventually didn't want him to have the life she and the rest of the family had expected of him, so she told him to run.
Satisfied, Chrisjen reports to Errinwright that Holden's not a terrorist mastermind. Too bad they got a report from Kenzo that he's headed to Eros in a disguised Martian gunship with codes supplied by the head of the freaking OPA, and Kenzo stopped transmitting. So to him, it looks like Holden is about to bust some stuff up again, and their spy got captured and/or killed, so he's sending a black ops team to Eros to take him out.
Teen Wolf- Finally!!! Scott finally finds out the truth about what happened with Donovan. He reassures Stiles that of course he knows that it was self defense! But they think they're being funny by being all, "Oh, if only we talked a few more minutes, we would've cleared that all up!" No shit, and it was incredibly frustrating that a lot of the conflict of the season stems from that, idiots!
So Scott's reuniting his pack, he's got Kira back. Hilariously, the Skinwalkers make a deal with Kira's mom- if she fails their tests, they get to keep her and she becomes on of them to teach her how to control the beast within. Kira beats the thing they sent to fight her, so she thinks she's won. Too bad she did it by letting loose with the fox spirit. So really she failed. They try to claim her, but Noshiko is all, "Yeah, changed my mind!" and luckily Sciles show up and they pick them up and drive the hell out of there. I guess this will eventually come to play later, with the Skinwalkers coming for her, presumably after this business with the Dread Doctors and the Beast is done?
They still need Lydia, who's still stuck in Eichen House but being Yoda-ed by Meredith while in her catatonic state, and Malia, who Scott realizes is hanging with Braeden and going after her mom. What they don't realize is that Malia is upset about this because Deaton could possibly be killed if he's not dead already by the Desert Wolf, and she blames herself. Theo taunts her with this as she kicks his ass.
Speaking of, heh, Liam is still seeing Hayden even though they're in different packs now. He tries to get through to her, but she doesn't believe him when he says Scott will save them. She thinks Theo can help them survive, and she needs to live, because she can't put her sister through that. Mason is also in the same boat with Corey. Mason tells Corey he's on the bad side, but Corey doesn't care, as long as he's alive in the end. Mason says he doesn't want to be left standing if its with the bad guys, but for all his moral objections, he still gets with Corey.
