Second Chance- Dammit, I was hoping this would totally suck so I could just not bother, but the first ep did intrigue me enough to want to see the next ep. I presume there's more to the corruption stuff at Tim Dekay's office (that's kinda funny he's playing a Feeb again), but at the very least he was lucky enough to be able to turn his partner and boss in somewhere. Like Jimmy did have to run, lest he go into total body failure and die, but its not like things were A-OK!
I mean, the two guys were knocked out, but not only would Duval have to keep them under control, he'd have to find someone he could call to turn them in to. He knows his boss screwed him over, and since his partner "was more family to him than his dad", I would think if he can't trust him he can't trust anybody in the office. Also, it would've been funny if Jimmy accidentally killed the guy with that headbutt, like oops, that puts a crimp in the case! Which at least at that point he knew he had to hold back, I'm surprised the guy at the bar's face isn't broken. Like he was freaking putting dents in steel doors! I would assume punching the guy hard to knock him out would've actually killed him!
But heh, Aliens in America guy is prolly gonna be pissed that his sister seems to long for Jimmy! All I'm saying is it would be incredibly hilarious that when they inevitably hook up, they make a reference to her weird "this is you going in me" line.
Oh, Vanessa Lengies is playing hot sister's secretary or something. Cool to see her in stuff. And hey, looks like Ciara Bravo's back working after the cancellation of red band society. Speaking of, heh, I supposed Duval was paying attention to the game. But he's also a cop. You'd think he'd say something that the random stranger who all of a sudden showed up at the soccer game was staring at his teenage daughter obvious enough that she noticed and was freaked out about it. Also weird, she apparently is 18 now, I remember when she was a kid seeing her in Nick commercials (since I didn't actually watch any shows she was on), she still looks like a kid. Like its weird that she's older than someone like Ariel Winter.
