Finding Carter- Are you serious, Carter?! I mean, Liz is facing her worst nightmare with Carter pulling away. Like you can't blame her for being over protective- she had lost her for more than a decade and just got her back. So of course she'd be paranoid about Lori, and upset about her dating Jared!
Who is apparently married with a kid! He says its over- he only married the girl because she got preggers so it was a doomed marriage and she refuses to sign the papers. Carter is upset at the deceit, and I think she should be a little creeped out that he's all, "I was hoping we could be a family!" Dating a 25 year old is one thing, but I don't think playing step mommy is in her current life plan. Which is still eye-rolling- she talks about how its so great that she's out of school waitressing at a bar. Tell yourself that in a decade!
Of course, I think Jared is still even more shady- after all, he asked for a mysterious favor from Ben in exchange for not turning him in. Judging by the previews and Elizabeth's drug case, I'm guessing he has something to do with that, further driving a wedge between Elizabeth and Carter. Or I guess it might go the other way and Carter uncovers a clue to solve her mom's case.
And I'm guessing the dead person in the commercials is Bird's new bf? It seemed like someone she would be upset about, and it seems like anyone else, other people would be more upset.
Also, the Lori stuff is weird. Is she on meds now or something? Sticking up for Liz, not acting like an obsessive nut? Why did her personality change?
Arrow- Some interesting turns of events. On the island, turns out the guy Ollie killed is that one chick's brother. Heh, he breaks the news to her that her brother is dead, but leaves out the part that he did it. But to be fair, he was manipulated into doing it. But Ollie got to whip Continuum future guy since the boss man determined Ollie was telling the truth about him getting the one slave to attack him.
In the present, turns out Diggle's brother is alive, and working for the HIVE. Possibly because of some mystery pills Darhk has been giving his men. Diggle wants to write him off, but Ollie has to believe anyone can be redeemed, I guess because he feels he has so much darkness inside. In any case, Team Arrow goes to retrieve Andy without him, and Diggle finally relents in the last minute to help, saving Ollie's life.
Diggle tries to ask his brother why he's with HIVE, but Andy is being truculent. Also during the attack, Thea discovers something interesting. Darhk tries to do some mojo on her, but it ends up backfiring on him, possibly because she was in the lazarus pit? Not only that, it satiated her bloodlust- Malcolm was wanting her to pull a Dexter and just start killing scumbags, sending her the name of a sick pedophile. But no matter how bad a person is, she doesn't want to kill. So, she wants her dad to figure out why Darhk's magic helped her, and how to make it permanent.
