TV commentary:
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Oh weird, like I said a few weeks ago, I found out Josh Chan was played by a Filipino actor, but I didn't realize his character was supposed to be Filipino also. It was kinda amusing to see them talking about dinuguan, but even more, when Paula took Rebecca to the Asian Market and Josh's mom was there getting lobsters? HA, how Filipino Thanksgiving!
(Also Rachel Bloom has got some good flow on "I Give Good Parent") But heh, that was an amusing ep, where Becky endears herself to Josh's family, while they despise Valencia. But she totally misses the fact that Josh doesn't want someone his family loves, part of the reason he likes Valencia is because she's different.
But aw, poor Greg! He was all ready to quit his bar job and use his savings to finally go to business school, but then his father's condition worsens and he basically has to go back and spend those savings on his father's treatments (and lost seniority at work since he quit) Like he knows he's stuck in a dead end job, his boss realizes it and is actually happy Greg is quitting, and even his father tells him he should leave him be and live his life. Greg would never do that though, he's good people.
