isabel79's last post on the subject was before the Mets headed to Chicago, I didn't realize the Mets swept the whole thing last night. I guess last time I was talking to anyone about it was at dinner at Hankook with clevemire and K on Tuesday, so before Game 3. I just didn't know they won that game on Tuesday and that there was another game last night that they won.
On the one hand, it does break that one BTTF "prediction". But on the other, being raised in a family of hardcore Mets fans, its nice to see them make it to the World Series again.
TV commentary:
Criminal Minds- Weird, I'm actually reminded of last night's Arrow. [Bad username or site: spoiler cut @ livejournal.com]So the sheriff started drinking heavily because of the heinous nature of the crimes. Rossi tells him to sober up, and in the end, the sheriff getting to snipe and kill the two subjects seems to have given him closure. So now he's all good! Of course, as they said, those two guys were psycho meth heads, the police would be hard pressed to take them alive since they were going to fight until their last.
Supernatural- Heh, Rowena is always a card! Her insistence in calling her new coven the "Mega Coven" was hilarious. Of course, everyone made the same Mean Girls "stop trying to make 'Mega-Coven' happen!" It does sound kinda kitch-y.
Also, for someone who's supposed to be shrewd, Crowley should realize by now that his goals are incompatible with Amara's. Like, he's testing the waters to see if she's an ally or not, but I think it was pretty clear early in the ep she isn't. She desires oblivion, to destroy everything, which is obviously no fun for him and demonkind. So I don't know why he was continuing to humor her.
That was interesting though, the random scene with an angel and demon in the bar just bitching about the state of things. I wonder what's going to come from that?
