Faking It- Huh, I wonder where they're going with this. Amy's mom is possibly cheating on Lauren's dad with Amy's dad?! I'm hoping its a fake-out, because I liked the step-sister dynamic Amy and Lauren had been displaying. If they're no longer step sisters, it makes the group all weird, because I would think that would make things hugely awkward between Lauren and Amy. And Karma's Amy's friend, and Liam doesn't really interact with Lauren. I guess Shane is the only one who is friends with both of them, if you can call it that. Like I said, I'm curious to see how this plays out.
Duke's publicist Joanna is pretty conniving though. She ends up breaking up Shane and Duke since she doesn't feel Shane is good enough. Although truthfully, she does have a point- Duke is this up and coming MMA guy, and he's dating a high schooler. So she tells Shane Duke agreed to keep it on the down low, pissing off Shane who reveals he was the one who outed Duke to him. Needless to say, Duke is pissed, and they're prolly not together anymore.
Of course, Joanna also ends up breaking up Karma and Liam. Karma's already feeling all intimidated being poor and hanging out with Liam and Seetah who are all rich and stuff. I mean, Liam was never one to flaunt his wealth, but Seetah just flies them all out on her private jet so they can see Duke's fight. But then Joanna thinks it would be cool to see Liam and Seetah on the red carpet and poor Karma gets left behind.
So, she asks Seetah if she can fly home, and Karma and Liam break up because she doesn't feel part of his world. And apparently he's been telling Seetah stuff about Karma and their relationship and never told her about thinking Xander was his dad, so she feels all betrayed. He counters that he has no idea what they are anyways, whether they're just eff-buddies, or are they going out. So they're done. Liam ends up making out with Seetah, while I think Liam's dad-grandad is in the limo when it picks up Karma, and it seems like he's going to offer her some mysterious deal?
Castle- Interesting changes this season. So Gates is promoted to deputy chief (is she gone?) so Beckett is promoted to Captain, though this ep she's doing mysterious work, possibly for the Attorney General's office. (They apparently killed Cuddy's character off screen!) Anyways, the biggest weird changes are that apparently Alexis is joining her dad as a PI, like how Veronica Mars of her. And then they're adding some new British lady Investigator chick to be Castle's new... partner? rival?
