Teen Wolf- Interesting mid-season finale. Dangit, I'm going to have to wait until January to see how it turns out?! Anyways, we find out what Parrish is- apparently he's a hellhound, like in Odin's wild hunt.
Also, it turns out Malia knows much more than she has let on. She knew about Donovan the whole time, but didn't press Stiles on it, because it didn't matter to her if Stiles killed him or not. And heh, the Lydia vision was a big fake out, though I guess I lot of them were not what we expected. We see her in the cave, and a wolf/coyote creature or something coming towards her. But its only Theo wanting to talk. Well, as we see with the rest of this ep, to isolate her as he did with everyone else.
He locks her in some room, but she gets out and gets into a fight with another chimera, but she's saved by Braeden. Who warns her that her mom knows she's alive and is coming after her. But they make it sound like this was Malia's plan all along, and Malia actually looks excited rather than freaked.
Although Stiles was not in a great place with Scott right, circumstances pile on to prevent him from even further being any help. He tries to go to the Sheriff station to confess to his dad about Donovan, but his dad's not there. Turns out he got a note from Melissa with Stiles ID, saying one of the janitors found it. And after that, he disappears for most of the ep. Stiles waits, but since another Chimera dies (more on that later), Parrish is activated and he breaks out of jail.
Stiles follows him, and I guess not knowing Theo is a traitor yet since everyone is separated, calls him since he's the only one picking up. Wherein Theo reveals his true nature, about how he came to Beacon hills for the rest of them, to be the new alpha of the pack. Stiles of course basically spits in his face, but then Theo reveals he did something to the sheriff, and thus Stiles can either choose to help Scott or save his dad. So, Stiles has no choice but to go after his dad, whom he finds viciously wounded.
Lydia is separated because she was talking with Parrish and something he said made her think of the Wild Hunt of Norse myth and hellhound, so she went to the library to look that up. She's has a banshee premonition, but can't warn anyone, because Theo is there, and he knocks her out and takes her to the Dread Doctors' lab.
But yeah, onto the main part of the ep. As we saw last ep, Scott refuses to bite Hayden. Liam is pissed, but Scott argues that they don't know if it would even work. Liam is all, "You save me", but Scott tells his dumbass son that he bit him to prevent him from falling off a building, this is entirely different. So Scott calls his mom, who tries chelation therapy on her.
Its not working too good, so Hayden wants Scott to find her sister so she can be there in the end. He goes off to find her, but is lured to the library by Lydia's phone. Theo reveals his true colors to Scott, and traps him in the library with mountain ash. Needless to say, Liam is freaking out that Scott hasn't returned, and at some point Theo gets him to the library, since Liam shows up, ready to kill Scott because of Hayden.
Oh, and Scott also finds out Theo had given Scott an inhaler full of Wolfsbane, which is why he's been weak as of late. But he destroys that, and the supermoon supercharges "father and son" and they duke it out. Scott figures out Theo's plan all along was to sow discord and then have Liam kill Scott to become Alpha, and then Theo would backstab Liam to get the Alpha crown. Liam manages to beat Scott down, but then Hayden expires and Melissa sends Mason to find and tell Liam. So he manages to snap Liam out of it long enough to prevent him from killing Scott by saying Hayden's dead. (Parrish eventually shows up, and Liam sadly lets her go)
So Liam goes off to be with her, but then Theo shows up and knocks Mason aside before digging his claws into Scott to try and get his alpha-ness since his plan failed. Scott seemingly dies, but Mason calls Melissa and she doesn't quit performing CPR, even though Mason thinks its pointless as Scott had been down for more than 15 minutes. But Melissa isn't gonna give up on her child, and eventually Scott comes back to life. Scott is all sad that he messed up, but his mom reassures him he can fix the pack. He's all, why would they want to come back, and she tells him because he's their leader.
In the end, Theo is all pissed that his plan didn't go exactly how he wanted it, and angrily tells Lydia so, before taking an injector and getting something from one of the creepy tubes with someone in them. He stabs his claws into Lydia's neck to get a vision of where the Nemeton is, and drags her there to witness him injecting the only chimeras we spent time with (Tracy, Donovan, Cory and Hayden). They come back to life, and he's all, they're his new pack and they seem to have no choice but to follow.
Then we see the Dread Doctors break down a wall to reveal a mural of two supernatural creatures fighting, and they cackle about how they've succeeded.
But yeah, I'm kinda excited about Liam and his anti-pack. Particularly since Tracy and Hayden are back alive!
