The Fosters- Oh, those teases! So, it turns out the initial reports were wrong and there were no fatalities- Jesus is fine at Rasslin school, Ana is in a brace, but the baby is fine, and so is Mariana.
But the aftermath is another thing altogether. Stef was pretty devastated by that day, thinking she may have lost one of her babies, and the only thing that's been keeping her together is hunting the driver of the car that t-boned them, who fled the scene. (I have a suspect, but more on that later)
Meanwhile Mariana is hovering too much around Ana and her baby, and its kinda annoying her. I mean, she's appreciative, but I think she wants her daughter to be like a kid, not to be taking care of her.
So between that and Mat about to leave on tour, Mariana is in a weird place. She resolves to have Mat swipe her V-card, but he doesn't want her first time to be right when he's about to leave, at some beach party. But then Wyatt freaking shows up, and you know where this is headed, given he hasn't been a relevant character in a while. He and Mariana totally do it, which is hilarious given his character also banged Carter in Finding Carter. So that's two times he's slept with sisters of girls he used to date.
Other stuff. Connor is out to his dad, but Jude wants to keep it on the down low. He's always been something, the foster kid, the kid with the dead mom, etc. He just didn't want to be the gay kid at school now.
At Idylwild, Brandon is sad to find out he was accepted in the program as a composer rather than a pianist. He meets his obvious future love interest, Kat, who's also a pianist. She's kinda a bitch to him, thinking him an amateur, and gets kinda pissed when she's paired with him, because of course she is.
Lena and Monte continue to keep mum about the kiss. Monte insists she's straight, so this was all nothing. But, she wants Lena to go on some school trip. Lena considers it, but when Stef cries to her about how she's still not okay after the accident, she turns the trip down. Lena and Stef make a plan to take a vacay, too bad they had a plumbing leak that will prolly blow through any savings they would spend towards that trip.
Finally, Callie meets a fellow foster kid AJ, who ran away from home to meet his brother, who had been placed somewhere else. So even though their initial meeting is brusque (he sees her on the street and thinks she's some rich girl), Callie feels a kinship with him. So, she lets him stay at the community center until he can get emergency placement, and he ends up stealing some spray paint and taking off, so she gets shitcanned. What the shit man, Callie can never catch a break can she?
And gee, with AJ mentioning how he was supposed to meet his brother, but he never showed up, I wonder if he'll randomly end up being the one who drove the car that hit the twins and Ana?
