12 Monkeys- Well, that was an insane season finale! In 2015, Cassie and Cole catch up with Aaron to try and interrogate him, but he escapes and fights back with a makeshift flamethrower which sets the place on fire and he ends up getting trapped and supposedly burning to death.
But, they learn Jennifer is head of Markridge now. They have a chat where Cassie slaps Jennifer because she has no time for her nuttiness, which leads them to the 2015 version of the time travel facility (run by Jones' husband or ex-husband), where Ramse is trying to go back to the future to see his son again. Cole tries to talk him down, but Cassie is angry and ends up shooting him, and in turn getting shot by Ramse's bodyguard before the bodyguard ends up getting killed. I guess to make up for his guilt, he gives the injections to Cassie, saying the only way to save her is to shunt her to the future, where Jones can possible patch her up.
And this is when things really start getting interesting- so Ramse is not the witness. Is it possibly the Striking Woman? Or is she just reciting stuff the Witness has claimed. Which, she talks about inescapable fate, but we see Cole thwart it at the very end. According to the Striking Woman, the world will find Ramse by the time machine, dead, with Cole fading into obscurity, and what happens with him is beyond their sight. But Cole, instead of continuing to run, changes his mind and goes back for Ramse to drag him away and try and save him. So her prediction is already wrong.
In any case, she's busy with a project of 12 babies, who presumably become the 12 blue people with Deacon in the future. Meanwhile, Jennifer is traveling the world- possibly being the one spreading the virus?! Which would be crazy given her cult in 2017 which had her rallying against the patriarchy and blaming them for humanity dying.
In 2043, Deacon and the 12 blue people have teamed up with a Spearhead survivor, who releases a bunch of bats that immediately are drawn to the reactors exhaust vent and cover it up, overheating the thing and causing a shutdown. They attack, and they cut down Whitley's men, seemingly possessing weird powers that give them an advantage. Eventually, they make it to Jones, who threatens to blow up the place unless they let the others go. And then Cassie shows up from the past, which seems like a huge surprise to the 12.
