TV commentary:

Arrow- Argh! Did they have to do that? Well, I guess Deadshot may not really be dead, but they did kinda set it up for him to have a hero's death. Still, I've always thought Deadshot was pretty cool, and I think the show did a good take on him. Plus, Cupid just transferred her obsession to him, they were going to be a cute homicidal couple!

But yeah, so Diggle and Lyla's wedding is only shown for like a second, and then they go off on their honeymoon while the rest of team Arrow dealt with the fake Arrow. Only, Waller was in the limo and had an assignment for Lyla- lead the Suicide Squad to rescue a senator who was being held hostage in random fake ex-Soviet Bloc state. (I missed the name, so it might be an actual place in the DC universe) Since Diggle just got married to her, no way is he going to let her go alone and have her possibly die off on a mission while he's waiting on the sidelines.

So its the newlyweds with Deadshot and Cupid, who's as hot as ever. They try to rescue the senator, but soon learn that the senator had actually faked the attack for his own personal gain, and their rescue attempt has screwed that up, and now he has to kill the hostages. So, they're on the run, trapped, and realize the hospital is rigged to blow. (Heh, and during their rescue attempt, Deadshot saves Cupid, so now she loves him!) Lyla is all, "Oh, we shouldn't have done this! This is why parents take flights separately, so they don't orphan their child!" What the? What parents do that? That's kinda crazy! Obviously, it would definitely suck for a child to lose both their parents, but the chances of a plane crash are minimal, it would be ridiculous to never take a flight together just for that possibility. If you were really worried about that kinda shit, you should never ride in a freaking car together again, since a fatal car accident is more probable than a plane crash.

Anyways, they cook up a plan, where Deadshot covers them from the roof. But him being up there means he can't get out in time. And he knew that. In flashbacks, we saw how he screwed up his own life because he had killed so much as a soldier, he couldn't live a normal life anymore and his wife put out a restraining order on him. So he did this so the rest of them could live. Which, heh its not like his perch was all that high. Ollie has gotten out of tighter situations like that. The Suicide Squad doesn't have grappling hooks or something?

Needless to say, Cupid was quite upset. And the bs part of it is that the cover story paints Deadshot as the terrorist leader. So he doesn't even get to be remembered a hero! But yeah, this causes Lyla to quit Argus and Diggle to quit team Arrow (or wait, was it that he was going to quit team Arrow, but since Lyla quit her job, that makes it so one parent is no longer in danger).

Back in Starling City, Arrow deals with the impostor Arrow. or rather Arrows. As its not just Ra's, but a bunch of LoA guys. Palmer decides to use his suit to try and bring the Arrow to justice, and the x-ray scanner on his helmet combined with Felicity's facial recognition software shows him that Ollie is the Arrow.

So, he also figures out Felicity has to know, and everything makes sense now, like her freaking out about him trying to be a vigilante, because its not her first rodeo. He's kinda pissed, thinking maybe Felicity was tricking him, and tries to go to the police. For some reason, he goes to ADA Lance first, instead of captain Lance. Like, wouldn't he have to talk to the cops before even seeing an ADA? Also, he's kinda a dullard if it took him as long as it did talking to Laurel that she's trying to cover it up. Like after several minutes of her being skeptical, he's all, "Oh, you're Ollie's ex-gf, of course you know he's the Arrow and are covering for him!" Like, no duh! Maybe you should try someone else!

So, Ray goes to challenge Ollie and Roy. He's kicking their ass for a while, because he's in a military grade flying combat suit, and they have bows and arrows. But, Ollie spots the power pack and hits it to disable the suit and defeat Roy. Ollie has Roy dead to rights, but lets him go, trying to prove he's not a killer.

Eventually it turns into a whole love triangle thing, with Ollie saying stuff like he was fine with her dating someone else, before the guy turned out to be someone who was going to be just like him. The guys work it out though, and Ray is all, he was wrong about saying the city should be going after the Arrow, and thinks the Arrow is innocent and being framed. Of course, Captain Lance is angry about this, and Laurel and he argue about it (and if Ray was smart, he'd figure out Captain Lance does not know and the Arrow is a sore spot between father and daughter). But then an Arrow is fired into the conference room (well, the Mayor's office), killing the mayor (heh, I actually thought she had been killed already- I remember the actress being on the show before, and I thought she hadn't made it in the previous ep she was in). Its fired by Maseo, who then takes aim at Felicity before the screen fades to black.
