TV commentary:

The Fosters- Argh!! Are you freaking serious?!! bbv('This is total BS!!') How you going to end the season on that?! So, since Stef and Lena actually are taking Ana's baby, Mariana and Jesus have to go to their grandparents to say, "Oops, nevermind about taking the baby, our moms are taking it!" After they leave, while the grandparents do think Stef and Lena would be good mothers to their new grandchild, they're a little hesitant to lose another grandkid to them.

So, they show up and talk to Ana and the twins, asking Ana to keep the baby, and move back in with them, and that they'll do whatever it is to help. But its been too long, and she just can't go back to her parents. After, Jesus tries to convince Mariana to tell Ana to keep the baby and go back to her parents. While Stef and Lena are willing to raise another child, the twins both know its different than when Lena was going to have Frankie, because part of the excitement was her having an actual child of her own.

During all this, Mariana had tripped on Jesus' skateboard, twisting her ankle, and threatening the big dance-off. But she and Emma do this crazy hologram dancer thing so they'll technically have 7 dancers on stage. And the crowd is thrilled. So I guess they won?

Anyways, circumstances (more on that later) make it so Ana is driving Jesus and Mariana home in their moms' Volvo. Ana has a scare where she has a sharp pain in her side, but since the twins can't legally drive, and the hospital is only a few blocks away, she heads over there. And they get t-boned in an intersection. Looking at the lights at the time, it looks like they had the right of way.

But yeah, supposedly there's a fatality. Which, hopefully(?) its the other driver, because they just did the miscarriage thing with Lena, they can't kill Ana and her baby off, and that would be insane if they killed on of the twins!!

On the Callie front, Callie has dinner with the Quinns and meets her paternal grandfather, played by Patrick Duffy. He's kinda a dick, blaming his son for Sophia having a personality disorder, thinking she's upset over Callie showing up, even though Sophia insists its not, because she's actually glad to have a sister. (I don't think its a lie, it sounds like she was already miserable and nuts before Callie came along) Robert blames his dad for not being able to be there for Callie, and he loves her and just wants to take care of her. But, his dad gives him the cold hard truth that she's fine with her current family, and he's screwing up her life right now.

Callie does feel a little bad for her dad, and they have a bonding moment. But then he hears from his lawyer about the emancipation plan. The next day, after the dance-off, they get a call from Robert's lawyer, saying they want to meet in front of the judge. They freak out that he's going to award the Quinns custody for their shenanigans, but Robert is just there to terminate his parental rights and let the Fosters adopt Callie, he doesn't want her going through the whole mess of emancipation just to get away from him. So, at least they get a win, even if they might have lost a child (which they have no idea about yet when the ep ends)

Things seem to turn out well for Jude though. He puts on some blue nail polish, war paint as he explains to Connor later, to give the bravery to go visit him even though Connor's dad doesn't want hi there. Connor's dad does catch him, so he calls Lena to take Jude home.

Jude confesses to Lena that the tent story was a lie, it was just the two of them, and that he loves Connor, and she's there to be a shoulder for him to cry on, which Connor's dad sees. He feels a little guilty, and then Lena gives him a piece of her mind. Like, sure, he can stop Jude from seeing him here at the hospital, but what about school? When he says he's transferring Connor, Lena is all, right at the end of the semester? He'll have to repeat the grade! What about all the other boys? He can't lock up Connor forever! And if he continues on this course, Lena warns him that he's the one who's going to end up being pushed out of Connor's life. He admits he just doesn't want his son to be gay, but does seem to realize that's not up to him, and lets Jude see Connor.

As for Brandon, Lu tells him a big record producer likes their sound and wants to hear them, so she asks him to go on tour. They possibly do it, making him late for his interview at his dad's with the fancy music school, but he makes it just in the nick of time, claiming he missed the bus, forgot his phone and had to run all the way there. He plays for the lady, and he does well, messing up only once, filmed so this mistake comes right after his siblings get t-boned.
