Justified- NGL, I was freaking out this whole ep. I mean, Winona freaking shows up in the middle of Ty being on the loose, in addition to Boyd finding out last week about Ava trying to run from Limehouse. Luckily, Winona and Raylan just talk and talk about how life is going to be now that they have this kid and how custody is going to work and all that jazz. It was a little boring, and they purposely had the baby crying all throughout to highlight how hard it is to raise a baby. But I guess Winona says something about taking Raylan as he is? Wait, was she saying she'd want to give it a go, as long as he was in it?
So after taking Ava out to the woods and acting all menacing under the guise of just talking about people like Bowman and Johnny and other people who ended up getting killed, he eventually asks her what's going on with her trying to run and Raylan in her house that previous night. She admits she's a CI, of how she felt abandoned by Boyd last season and thought it was her only way out. Instead of killing her, Boyd apologizes and tests her by giving her an unloaded gun and telling her to shoot him if she's really that afraid of him.
She doesn't, so he says he'll figure a way out of it for her. But heh, I was worried either Ty would come around looking to go out with a bang and try and take the Marshalls with him and Winona would get hurt in the crossfire, or that Boyd would get mad at Ava and execute her. But, thankfully none of that happened.
As for Ty, he tries to get help from Seabass and Markham. That conversation was a little confusing. Seabass wants to help his old Sgt. But after the call Markham said, "We both know he's not going to be at that meeting place". And then he gives Seabass a bunch of money to be loyal to him and abandon Ty, because he's burned and beyond saving. So he's not going to help Ty, but he's not also being sent to kill him just yet. But given Ty really wasn't at that meeting place (unless he wasn't and they decided to just not show him realizing they weren't showing up), it sounded like he expected them to double cross him or kill him.
Eventually, his car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and he calls some paramedics saying his brother got hurt on a trail and needed them to head up there and treat him. He was going to steal their med kit to patch himself up while they were headed up the trail. But one of the paramedics knew something was wrong, and tries to inject Ty with a sedative, saying he should get an antibiotic shot since they could see he was bleeding.
But Ty's not stupid either, he realizes the paramedic is trying to subdue him. And so he shoots and kills him. His fellow EMT apologizes and says he's not a hero, and begs Ty just to tie him up and take the kit. But, Ty's been having a pretty bad day, so he just kills that guy too.
Oh, and Art pretends to be just visiting the office and seeing Markham in there for an interview, passes by, all "Hey, don't I recognize you from somewhere?!" and then segues into asking him if he knew who the CI in that case was back then.
