TV commentary:

Justified- Hmm, some interesting developments. So, Markham proposes to Katherine, and then asks her if she was the mole. As you recall, all this time, she thought he was the mole. Duffy thinks he's lying and trying to do it to mess with her head- what better way to shift blame from himself by claiming he thought she was the mole. But despite the proposal, it sounds like she's still in the kill Markham camp. If he was the mole, then they just kill him slower.

Interesting though, Art shows up since apparently Rachel worked the case back in the day. How old is she, I thought this whole thing with Markam and Katherine's husband was a long time ago. He asks who their CI was, and Rachel claims they got everything on wiretaps- they never arrested Katherine because she was smart enough to do business over the phone. Art thinks there was a super-secret CI but if there was, Rachel has no idea. Rachel than uses this time to ask for advice on the current case.

So, when the ep starts, Boyd shows up while Raylan's there. Raylan claims he was just visiting, waiting for Boyd to ask him about Dewey. I think Boyd suspects maybe there's something going on between them, the way he's all handsy with Ava trying to show Raylan she's his girl. But seem like everyone's thinking it, Tim and Rachel too. Art tells Rachel, the proper thing to do is find out if what her gut is telling her about them banging is right, and if so, they'll have to take Raylan off the case. But Rachel suspects if it were Art, he'd let it go on to make the bust.

Whens he talks to Raylan later and asks her if his CI is still holding up, either her gut is telling her nothings going on, or if she does suspect something, she's following in Art's footsteps and letting it go for the sake of the case.

Anyways, so the mercs get rid of Buddy Garrity's body, but Seabass remembers Calhoun's hooker saw them meet with him that night. So, Choo Choo goes to get rid of her. Ty wants Seabass to do it at first, but he's tired of carrying Choo Choo's dumb ass. So, Choo volunteers, because it was his mistake.

The local cops find Calhoun pretty quickly though, and call Raylan given his card was on the guy. Heh, they ask if Calhoun was into some fed case, but Raylan denies it, saying the guy is his realtor. And so, he pays a visit to Markham, and questions him about Calhoun's death, which he was unaware of.

After they leave, Markham wants Walker to off Choo Choo. They trade war stories- Ty doesn't want to kill Choo, given what he survived in the war. Choo choo's vehicle was hit by an IED, and Walker feels guilty to be the one to kill him after they survived the horrors of war together. Markham tells a story of a dead Cong they found in a punji pit, and how the guy killed himself rather than waste his unit's time getting him out of there and treating him. Walker understands the point, to save the many by not letting the few drag the rest down, but like he said, they survived the sandbox together.

Too bad Choo Choo takes this time to call about how maybe they don't need to kill the girl- she says she promises not to tell on them. So alas, looks like that's the straw that breaks the camels back, and Choo choo's on the unit's hit list.

Amusingly enough, Ty goes with the two mercs we haven't seen yet, so in the ensuing gun battle (that Tim and Raylan join, as they sowed the seeds of discord and knew something like this was bound to happen after they told Markham about Calhoun, so they followed Walker) people can get killed who aren't "important". But yeah, Ty shows up, orders "Chooch" to kill her, but he won't do it, and he won't let them do it either.

So, Tim and Raylan reveal themselves, and tell Choo Choo that Walker was there to kill him too. Walker claims the feds are lying just to divide them., that they just need to kill Tim and Raylan and then go tie up all the other loose ends like Crowder, and everything's square. Choo Choo knows the truth though, but loyalty to the unit is all he has, so he draws on Raylan. Raylan puts two in his chest but the guy is still up.

So, in the chaos, the two random mercs die, and Ty is wounded but gets away, abandon Choo Choo, who's even more severely wounded and also manages to get away. They find Choo Choo later, he tries to kill himself via train, but the train manages to stop in time, and he just bleeds out. But yeah, wonder what this does for Markham's plans, given that Tim and Raylan heard Walker talk about how they were ordered to kill the Hooker. So with Walker on the run and the only one left unharmed is Seabass, Markham no longer has a unit of mercs.

Getting back to Boyd, Zachariah shows up at the house, and I guess he and Ava are estranged, as they have a nice little reunion. Then they leave to go to the mines, with Boyd leaving one of his guys to babysit her, though whether its because he's starting to get suspicious or to have someone protecting her from Markham, we're not sure. Ava does ask Boyd if it was a wise idea to hire her uncle, given his eccentricities, but Boyd thinks its fine.

Maybe he shouldn't, as he accidentally falls through some boards and almost dies. But, Zachariah saves him. Only later, after Boyd leaves, the Pig (I get a kick out of how the close captioning refers to him as "The Pig", when everyone just calls him Pig) gets to talking to Ava's uncle, and notices the boards were sawed. Zachariah says he's got a good eye, and then pushes him to his death down the hole. What's his angle, if he did sabotage the boards, why save Boyd?

In the end, Boyd gets a call from Limehouse, who seems to be poised to tell on Ava, as a gesture of goodwill. I forget if Ava told him about the whole legalize marijuana thing, so maybe he is jockeying for position to be a friend of Boyd if his plans are successful.
