Glee- So, its the Brittana wedding. (With a "surprise"!) So Brittana are getting married in the barn she was born in (her mom didn't even know she was preggers at the time!). Lots of pre-wedding anxieties. Brittany freaks out when Santana sees her in her wedding dress, going into a panic over the bad luck from seeing a bride in her dress before the wedding. Santana eventually talks her down, saying its a stupid superstition going back to the days of arranged marriges, where they were worried if the bride and groom saw each other beforehand, they might not want to get married. But they won't have that problem, because Santana is totally in love with her and would never want to not marry her.
Also, Santana does not want Sue at her wedding because of all the effed up stuff she's done to them over the years. Mercedes warns her that if Sue comes, she might ruin it, but Rachel counters if she doesn't come, she'll definitely ruin it. Still, Santana is adamant. But Sue gets in Santana's good graces by getting her Abuela to come. She still may not agree with their choices, but echoing her Jane the Virgin self, she tells Santana family is everything, of course she supports her no matter what.
Minor issues- Rachel is worried about being at the wedding with Sam, because Burt and Carole will be there, and she thinks they'll be all offended. Obviously, they're not. Also, Tina, feeling all lonely, wants to propose to Mike. She gets her best male friends Puck(?), Blaine, and Artie to give her advice. Blaine is totally for it, Puck says sure, and while Artie thinks its crazy, Tina basically begs for his approval, so he gives it.
But, that's not the surprise 2nd wedding. Its' Klaine. With Sue back in the wedding, she wants to use the opportunity to get Klaine to tie the knot, now that they're together. Kurt realized he wants to be with Blaine while out with Walter, and he runs all the way to Blaine's and confesses his love, and thankfully they don't drag it out (given how the previous ep ended with Blaine about to do the same thing but seeing Kurt about to go on a date with Walter) and they're a couple again. They think Brittana will be offended that they're hijacking their wedding, but Brit and Santana approve. Heh, I think several fans were offended though. But c'mon, you knew if they didn't give Klaine the same amount of treatment Brittana got, people would be angry. And they didn't want to have yet another wedding ep, so they just took care of them both in one felled swoop.
So, double wedding! Artie and Mercedes sing the wedding entrance song, "At Last":
With it being at TV wedding, of course the couples do their own wedding vows:
No surprise drama here, both couples get married without a hitch. After Pierce Pierce's terrible and creepy wedding toast, Brittana make their own toast, giving everyone OTP caps. Then Artie (with Jane and Madison as backup and Kitty and presumably the Cheerios as dancers) starts off the celebration performances with Outkast's "Hey Ya":
Then the Troubletones and the moms (Carole, Maribel Lopez, Whitney Pierce, and heh "Pam" Anderson played by Gina Gershon) do The Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited":
Heh, Sugar crazy dancing for her moms (I was kinda hoping they'd make a Sugar from the Future reference). Also, I'm amused they used the original Outkast version, rather than the expected Obadiah Parker version since its a wedding.
So Tina pops the question to Mike, who's the voice of reason. He of course turns her down, and tells her she's a great girl, she'll find someone eventually, she shouldn't settle for him just because they had a great time in high school. So Tina's sad, but hopeful of finding that somebody.
Finally, the wedding couples get all the other couples on the dance floor, serenading them with "Our Day Will Come":
As I mentioned earlier, Rach was reluctant to get on the dance floor with Sam, until she saw Burt and Carole giving their approval.
Post-wedding, Artie and Tina have lunch, and decide to make a pact to marry each other if they hadn't found someone by the time they're 30. And Sue ends up getting Klaine and Brittana their dream honeymoon trips.
