TV commentary:

Agent Carter- Oh, that's so sad and effed up! So we get some insight into the Black Widow program. (Yeah, I know we don't technically know Dottie is a Black Widow, but c'mon, Russian spy school for girls, what else is it?) Those little girls are raised to be ruthless! Killing their own classmates during training, one of them even slit that one Howling Commando's throat like it was nothing!

But heh, I was amused by Dottie going all single white female in Peggy's room. Luckily, she didn't find the vial of Steve's blood. But yeah, the fucked up thing- poor Dottie apparently can't sleep without handcuffing herself to the bed, because that's how she was raised?

We get to find out more about Jack too. Apparently, he got the Navy Cross for killing a bunch of Japs who were about to sneak into camp. Only, he confesses to Peggy later, they were actually coming to surrender. But he didn't know, he thought it was an ambush and acted accordingly. It wasn't until they were dead that he noticed the white flag. The secret has been weighing on him this whole time, and he finally confessed it to Peggy. I hope he's gotten to respect her, seeing her kick ass like she did. And hey, they succeeded in getting some intel in the form of a Russian prisoner they freed.

And it sounds like the boss is starting to think maybe Stark is being setup. So things are looking up for Peggy's mission. Too bad Sousa just figured out she's the blonde in the picture.

PoI- Wow, Samaritan is twisted! So, it saved a little town, basically stomping out all resistance and sacrificing the few to ensure the prosperity of the many. Which, that's kinda expected. But then its started just playing with people's lives, just to see how they would react. Which is kinda effed up!

So Team Rocket (Reese and Root) follow the leads to this town, figure out what Samaritan's doing, and think they find Shaw. Only its not, its some innocent who had gotten hit during the mayhem and is being experimented on by Samaritan's people- apparently Samaritan is working on neural implants. So, they grab the girl and run off, most likely dooming the town since Decima basically just pulled up stakes and it will prolly go back to the dying town it once was. But at least the residents are no longer at the whims of an all powerful AI.

Still, Root is desperate to figure out what happened to Shaw. She begs the machine to tell her something, and she's excited when the machine finally rings her up. Too bad its only to tell the team to stop looking. Which is not the answer Root is looking for, so she seemingly quits? Ha, I like how Finch was all, "Maybe its telling us to stop because the search will drive us crazy and we should just forget about her for now and trust things will work out- the machine knows she's not in danger else it would've warned us, but the search puts us in danger, so we should just cool it for now!" It seemed like a cop out at first, basically him being the voice of the writers all, "here's a flimsy excuse for the team to all of a sudden not try to find their friend even though they're not the kind of people who ever stop!" and that they would drag the mystery out. But nope, the ep ends with Shaw alive in a bed, and Greer over her, with some plan. Are they going to chip her?

The case of the week was interesting- the number is a perpetrator, a seemingly mild mannered hardware store owner who is actually a contract killer. With Team Rocket on the warpath, Fusco has to deal with the number himself. And in doing so he bumps into that former IA chick Silva, who is now on the gang task force. He teams up with her to take the guy down. And I like how Fusco's reaction to Shaw's as far as he knows death is the opposite of when Carter died. Last year, he was like the others, out for revenge. This time, its like he has PTSD. He tries to take the guy down the first time in a non-violent manner. Then, he's over protective of Silva, not wanting her to get hurt.

Interesting, since Sarah Shahi had to leave, wonder if Silva will temporarily take over the position for whatever things they had in mind for Shaw?
