Arrow- What the hell is up with all these lying liars? Are they insanely cruel? Do they take some sort of perverse pleasure in playing the martyr and having a secret eating them alive? So Malcolm confirms for the team that Oliver is dead. Like how far is that island? And how much time passed? Its like he showed up, asked them if they heard from Oliver and offered to check it out himself, went to the island, and showed up later that night!
But like what the shit, they don't tell Thea?! Its not like she's in danger of having a heart attack like freaking Laurel's dad! Roy is all, "its what Oliver would have wanted!" He's dead, its ridiculous that they would keep his death from her. Like tell her brother is dead, and it was due to a manipulation by her dad! He basically engineered Ollie's death!
Actually, I did get a kick out of Felicity being all, "This is over!" and leaving and turning off the lights on Roy and Digg while they're still standing there. stv('How rude!') But yeah, with Oliver dead, she's distraught, and worried about the friends she does have left. She ends up letting Vinnie Jones escape by shutting a door on Roy and Digg, worried they were going to die. Then, she quits working for Ray when he's insistent in becoming the DC version of Iron Man.
Heh, Laurel takes a different route. First her sister, now Ollie, she's kinda pissed, and using stuff from the now abandoned Arrow cave to start her burgeoning vigilante career. I like it. Eff this Brick guy. He's going to undo all the work the cops and Team Arrow did to get all those guys out, why should they bother arresting these guys again? Well, okay, she shouldn't start murdering people. But hopefully she gets some satisfaction from kicking the shit out of these punks.
Anyways, Ollie's alive of course, having been recovered by Maseo and mysteriously resurrected somehow by Tatsu. Wonder how long it will take for him to get back to Staring City?
