Parks and Rec- Aw! Some fans were upset that in the flashforward Ron and Leslie were feuding, but I think it led to a nice pay off tonight with their reconciliation. So we finally find out what the Morningstar Incident was. So, Leslie was mad that Ron quit all of a sudden to form his construction company, one of its first projects being the construction of the Morningstar apartment complex by the park Leslie made way back when. However, it involved demolishing all the nearby houses, like Ann's.
She thinks Ron was just being an unsentimental jerk, but the truth is quite sad. So, Leslie poached April and Larry/Gerry/Terry whatever, then Ron and Donna left to do their own things, and one day he realized all of his friends were gone. So, he went to Leslie to ask for a job with her department, obviously a big deal since he was willing to take a federal government job. He arranges a lunch meeting with her to ask, but she ends up blowing it off because she totally forgot about it due to her hectic schedule. And so he decided to form his own company, and led to Morningstar.
But with everything aired, they make up and are friends again.
Flash- Huh, interesting. So, Captain Cold and Heatwave call the Flash out. Its a struggle, but Flash defeats them and lets Eddie arrest them. The big deal about this is, now the Flash is no longer rumor, a crazy theory posited by some girl with a blog. Captain Cold seems to imply that with the Flash known, things have changed in the city- he and Heatwave are broken out by Captain Cold's sister (in the comics, Golden Glider, but we don't actually see her face in this ep. Ha, if they're going with the Prison Break theme, maybe she'll be played by Lori from Walking Dead?), and I guess he's going to start building up the Rogue's Gallery to take on the Flash? They lost their special guns, but given how they casually mention Captain Cold had Heatwave really know his gun, enough that he's able to fix it when Joe shot it earlier, that perhaps they'll be able to build their own? I mean, we only see Captain Cold's sister's hand, but she's holding a fancy blaster, so maybe he's learned how to recreate the tech?
Other stuff, Caitlin starts trying to figure out things about Ronnie. Ha, they end up making Firestorm this ridiculous convoluted acronym- a project that Ronnie worked on with the two people who he separately forms Firestorm with in the comics. She meets with Jason Rusch, who is all paranoid and hush hush when she mentions Firestorm, as the military had confiscated their work.
Oh, and Iris moves out of her dad's, and Barry moves back in.
Justified- I was not expecting that! Boyd executes Dewey in a Lenny from Mice and Men/Lizzie from TWD manner. I mean, I guess he had to die, he was kinda too stupid to live, and they couldn't really go anywhere anymore with his character that wouldn't feel like retreading old ground.
But poor Ava, Raylan and the Marshalls are trying to strong arm her for more info to take down Boyd. But she's scared that Boyd will figure her out (and he's acting creepy enough that maybe he knows something is going on). I find it hilarious that Raylan's advice was all, "Remember the time you murdered your husband? How he never saw it coming? Do whatever you did to make that work!"
And interesting, I wonder who Garret Dillahunt's character is. That was random that he just showed up at Arlo's house wanting to buy it from Raylan for a suitcase full of cash. Like he appears, is his usual weird and creepy self, and then when Raylan says he's not selling, he just goes. I doubt it was a random cameo, so I'm assuming he's a secret bad guy? And what's his game?
