TV commentary:

NCIS- Argh, why would you do that?!! Isn't it supposed to be Happy Holidays! So the ep is Tim narrating a case from the week before as he writes a letter to his father about it. And as the ep went on, and they were talking about his father needing surgery, I started to get suspicious. And sure enough, he was writing the letter to his dad because he died! What the shit, show!? Aren't Christmas eps supposed to be cheery?

But it was interesting to see not only Ziva, Kate, Jenny, and Franks from old clips, but Tim's sister. Heh, wonder if they'll ever actually get Spencer to guest on this show again.

Degrassi- Interesting, so is that the blackmailer? Grace traces the blackmail calls to the Hollingsworth household. They think its Frankie at first, but figure its not her style. Ha, they totally forgot about Hunter! So, the cheerleaders confront him, and threaten to email his comic where he murders zombie versions of them to the Principal and his dad and make him look like a dangerous nutcase unless he stops sending "the messages". He agrees to stop, but we find out later he has no idea what they're talking about, and only said that to appease them. But, the ending seems to indicate the real perpetrator is his new gf, Arlene, that girl who the cheerleaders were picking on.

Also, I still find it weird that Jack is on the cheersquad. Like the cheerleader her and the lesbian gf of Imogen version of her seem like two totally different characters!

Heh, I'm also amused Drew does not see the irony of being jealous of Becky's new friend. All, "Guys and girls can't be just friends!" Oh, so what's Claire to him then? I mean, he even knocked her up? How can he expect Becky to ever trust him if he says stuff like that?

Selfie- Still holding out hope that despite the cancellation, they're going to end the series on a good note, with something resembling closure. At least Eliza and Henry are back to being friends. Wonder how things will end up, what with Julia and Henry being broken up, but Freddie back to saying he wants more, and he's only holding back because he's scared he'll freak her out.

Person of Interest- Well, that's a scary place to end it. So, to prove a point, Samaritan makes the city run smooth, and takes care of all the numbers quicker than the Machine gang can. But lest they think Samaritan is being well... a good samaritan, Lambert gives Root a message to give to the machine. He says they've seen what it looks like when Samaritan is being benevolent, now its time for a taste of how much shit it can wreck if it wanted to.

And sure enough, everything goes to hell, with several innocents dying and the city being choked by all sorts of incidents. It wants to force a sit down, and heh, we get a convo with the Machine as Root, talking to Samaritan's avatar for the meeting, some child hacker prodigy. I wonder if part of that choice was to stop the gang from being hostile towards its host, since its a child.

But yeah, Samaritan says it will destroy the machine in no uncertain terms, but it can spare the gang. Heh, Root's been talking about the Machine protecting her, but since she's reciting what the Machine wants to say to Samaritan, she has to feel weird about the Machine being all, "Oh, my agents share my conviction!" Like did the Machine just say, "Oh, my peeps are willing to die for me!" Root prolly is, but its still weird for the Machine to be so presumptuous. Also, I'm not sure if Root is actually fine with the rest of the gang dying.

But yeah, Shaw sees the chaos and finally decides to leave to help, despite the danger. And Samaritan crashes the stock market. So things are prolly going to be crazy these next few eps.

Oh, and we get Greer's backstory. Apparently he's a disgruntled ex-spy. His boss was a double agent, so that seemed to shake his faith in humanity.
