TV commentary:
Hart of Dixie- Woah, is it me, or did Rachel Bilson's boobs look amazing this ep? Is she preggers? Post-preggers? Is Darth Vader the father? (Hayden Christiansen, obviously, not James Earl Jones or David Prowse)
But I digress. Argh, why would they have the season premiere today if there won't be a new ep until Jan 9th?! That's like next year! And to end the season premiere there, having to wait almost a month to find out what happens?
But first, the one happy moment in the ep. Cricket gets asked out by a cute fire-fighter girl in town to try and help Tom establish a volunteer fire department in Bluebell after the Fancy's fire. Alas, the plan is a bust, because Levon and George are still fighting over Lemon (and a couple of other BlueBellians are fighting over fire fighter girl, not realizing she's a lesbian into Cricket)
Lemon is back in town, having met a Navy Seal Doctor Super good guy dude played by Athena/Boomer's gangster bf on Hawaii Five-O. So, Levon and George are all jealous, and they do temporarily call a truce to bond over hating this guy and lamenting losing Lemon. But when they both separately hire Frank to look into this guy background, they're back at each other throats realizing they both went behind the other's back to try and get some ammo to use against the guy to make a play for her.
But, it turns out her relationship is a fraud, and Lemon and this guy are only pretending to get their loved ones off their back about finding someone. Actually, Lemon does hint at him having "other problems" to AB when she comes around thinking Lemon was pregnant. Why did she think her bestie was preggers? Because Lemon was feeling under the weather and she spied some test results that Zoe ran indicating pregnancy.
So yup, if its not Lemon, three guesses as to who it is? And now we're on to the heartbreaking part of the ep. So, Zoe keeps on making plays for Wade now that's he staying in Bluebell, but Wade is resistant. On terrible advice from George and Levon, she sleeps with Wade. But Wade is all, it can't be any more than that, because he can't trust she won't hurt him again. I mean, he hurt her first, tried to win her back, but then she needed her space, and then came back with Joel. And just when he was about to get over her, she broke up with her bf and declares her love for him.
There's an 8 week time jump after he blows her off, and he's freaking surprised that Zoe hasn't talked to him in all that time. What the shit, Wade? I mean, he basically breaks her heart, and thinks everything will just be normal and they can just shoot the bull?! But yeah, after Earl and his gf "reverse parent trap" Zade to try and get them together and it doesn't work, Earl tells his son to stop being an idiot and to go for it.
So he does, goes to Zoe's door, and lays his heart on the line... and Zoe denies him, telling him he was right the first time. Which, we realize its because she's secretly pregnant, but way to realize his worst fears, Zoe! I get she's freaking out, but still! And we won't find out what happens for another month! Argh!
Other stuff- Shelby comes back, wanting to get back with Brick. Brick is receptive, but since his mother and the rest of the family hate Shelby, he's wanting to keep it on the down low until his mom is out of town.
Major Crimes- Heh, like that wasn't obvious from the start! The one character actor guy showing up in the beginning as a random person in the court asking the squad questions and not showing up for another half hour. Its like, "Gee, I wonder if he's going to end up having something to do with the case!" And since he is a "That guy!", I instantly recognized his voice as the "anonymous" 911 caller.
NCIS:LA- Ooh, finally! So, Deeks and Kensi are making a go of it? Its about time! I mean, how many potential couples have they had on the various NCISes? Finally one of them is happening! Oh, and weird, I didn't realize the lady that Michelle and Sam had set Callen up with, being a civilian and all, was totally clueless about what they all really do. Like, I get they're "special projects" and Michelle does some CIA stuff, so they definitely can't toss that around. But I figured they just said they were just normal investigators, not that they came up with these crazy fake jobs and lives.
