TV commentary:
Faking It- Ooh, if this season ends in a downer again, I'm going to be so pissed. So Amy is freaking out on what Karma will do. But Karma is totally sympathetic towards Amy, thinking Liam took advantage of her because she was in a vulnerable situation.
And its interesting, because the whole ep, Amy ends up lying by omission. Though she keeps chickening out, she does try to tell the truth. But even when she does manage to get words out, Karma makes excuses for her before she can continue, making it difficult for Amy to say what she needs to say.
Besides, Karma is so furious at the situation and focusing the blame at Liam that she almost reveals Liam's family owns Sqwirkel. Amy stops her, and then when they're forced to be in a room alone with Liam, when Karma makes a crack about him going home and crying to his rich mommy, Amy defends him. Of course, Karma freaks out when Amy knows something about Liam's family that she doesn't, making her worry they've slept together more than once. Amy tells her she didn't, that she went to the party to prevent Liam from telling her the truth. Karma feels totally betrayed of course, and its Liam's turn to defend Amy, saying she didn't want to hear this painful truth.
But Amy finally womans up and says that's not true, she was being selfish, and scared, she didn't want Karma finding out and possibly lose her. But Amy insists both Liam and her are to blame, karma can't be mad at just Liam, so either she forgives them both, or hates them forever. Heh, Karma choses to hate them both, which is not the outcome Amy and Liam were hoping for.
In the B-plot, Lauren is worried her confession made Theo run for the hills. I mean, he acts like he's cool with it, and insists that he thinks she's awesome. But, he keeps on hanging out with this one hot girl, making Lauren thinks he's some lying dog. The girl had mentioned pot brownies, further cementing the whole theory that Theo is an undercover cop, and he's been talking to this Brandi chick to get to her source. Theo promises to meet Lauren after school and tell her something important, but he never shows up, so Lauren is crushed.
Flash- Ah, that was quick. (heh!) So they actually coin the name Flash this ep, so he's no longer referred to as the Streak. But yeah, this weeks FotW is a guy who can turn into steel, who just happens to be his childhood nemesis. Which, after they capture him in the end, they throw him in the secret prison under the lab (since its only the 4 of them, wouldn't they have to have to spend time like feeding the prisoners and stuff? what about if they have to go to the bathroom, those cells don't seem to have toilets. Also, showers? Or are they just stinking their cell up because they can't clean themselves? I digress) and Flash reveals himself to his old bully. Which, you better hope he doesn't escape!
Also, Joe is suspicious of Wells, since he showed up in town right after Barry's mom was murdered. But he reveals that he thinks the yellow and red lights are someone with powers like Barry, because what young Barry describes sounds a lot like what Barry looks like when he's running in the suit. Wells says its impossible, since the powers were created by the machine, which didn't exist back then, hence Joe being suspicious of him appearing in Central City around the same time. But Joe finds out some tragic backstory about Wells, which causes him to apologize and think Wells is innocent.
But then the yellow and red lights (c'mon, you know its Reverse Flash) run around Joe while he's alone at home continuing to investigate the murder, stealing the evidence and putting a knife through a pic of Iris on the wall, telling him to drop it, or else.
Agents of SHIELD- Some surprising reveals. So the team figures out Whitehall is Reinhardt, but he had been imprisoned by Peggy years ago and got old, but now he's young. How? He apparently drained Dichen Lachman, who is most likely Skye's mother (and had not aged since the 40s), unless Kyle Mclachlan loved another Asian woman whom he had a child with. (I suppose he could have the yellow fever).
But I can't remember now when he went to Reinhardt a few eps ago, did they know each other and hint at Skye's dad hating Reinhardt for killing his love, or did he act like he didn't know him. Which does he know Reinhardt killed her, and he's playing the long con, or is he unaware?
He'll also be working with Ward, who basically captures his brother and gets him to admit he was the one who made Ward throw their brother into the well. Which he tapes and has it found at the tragic murder-suicide of Christian and their parents. Pretty cold, Ward, killing your own family, even if they were a-holes.
Person of Interest- Ha, did they really not know that!? That was kinda hilarious to see Finch have to actually write "mini" on the board and write around it to figure out he's Dominic. But uh oh, Martine has found Shaw. I wonder if that will lead to the rest of them? Or if it will cause Greer to figure out the gang is shielded? I wasn't sure if it was a bad angle at the department store that it couldn't see Shaw, or if it just couldn't pick Shaw up despite Martine ringing her phone because of the corrupted servers Root and Shaw implanted last season.
