Supernatural- Its crazy that this show has been on for 10 years. But the 200th ep was freaking great, and I'm not just saying that because it was a musical ep (though they do kinda cheat by having all the singing done by guest stars, but that certainly does make it less hokey than trying to make your cast sing). It really was a love letter to the fans. But they've always been good at these meta episodes, making nods to the fans with out being condescending or making fun of them.
But ha, the whole, "but shouldn't it be Dee-stial" line was pretty hilarious. Because why is it "deh-stial", because its "dean", not "den". I mean, Dee-stial does indeed sound wrong to my ears, but maybe its because I'm used to deh-stial. Its like I'm sorry, I don't care if "jif" is the proper pronunciation, it seems like it should be "gif" to me. Like a gif, because aren't amusing gifs kinda like a gift?
(And ooh supposedly the music from the ep will be available soon. Ah can't wait!)
Flash- Ooh, how deliciously cruel! So Iris' dad tells Barry to talk to Iris about her blog. So he visits her as the Flash and finds out why she's really doing it- for Barry. Because when Barry was a kid, everyone acted like he was crazy for thinking a mysterious force that killed his mom. And so she wants to show the public that her best friend isn't crazy. So it kills him that her dad makes Barry plead with her to still stop doing the blog, because Iris is incredibly hurt that Barry is upset at her when she was doing this all for him.
But wow, Dr. Wells is EVIL!! I mean, stabbing Stagg to protect Barry is one thing. But wow, manipulating Plastique to make her go after Clancy Brown? That's just devious. But ha, looks like Harrison was doing experiments on gorillas back in the day, so I guess we're seeing Gorilla Grodd soon?
