TV commentary:
Arrow- aav('Whatttt!?!') So the end of the ep was a mind blower- apparently Roy killed Sara in some sort of haze? Or at least that's what he's been dreaming. Now, was he mind controlled, or are these false memories or what.
In any case, this ep shed light on Felicity's past. Apparently she used to be a sexy goth hacktivist girl. But then her boyfriend went to jail and the NSA faked his death so they could use him, and it made Felicity turn into the adorkable cutie she is today, and their friend become a IT guy for an investment firm. Needless to say, her not dead bf is kinda angry at his former gf and best friend for becoming all white bread and joining the man.
It was interesting to see Felicity save herself in the end, not only show she doesn't always need saving, but I think part of her knew if she didn't do that, Ollie would've probably killed the guy. Because he only seems to break his no killing vow when she's involved.
Which, man, seriously, way to dick her around! All, "I like your history, because it made you into the girl you are today, and you know how I feel about that girl!" What the shit, Ollie? You can't keep saying things like that and also be all, "But yeah, sorry, we can't be together, because I'd rather us be in unhappy agony pining after each other but never being instead!"
And heh, Felicity's mom is played by Quinn Fabray's mom, who's a far cry from the Stepford wife she was on Glee. Like she wears a skimpy dress well. But it was sad and sweet the talk they had. With Felicity being this braniac, and her not so much, she felt apart from her daughter because she was so amazing, but none of that stuff seemed to be from her. But Felicity assures her, the tough, spunky, heroic, selfless side, that's all from her mom.
SVU- Hmm, is that a hint at some backstory for Carisi? Him having that rapport with the mentally ill guy and totally not being a dick at all like he usually is, does that mean he has a loved one who was dealing with a mental illness? That's the way they usually set things up on this show.
But hilarious ending though, with the two girls doing the pinky thing and only he seeing it, all, "OMG, these girls are secretly serial killers in the making!" the music made it overly dramatic. But yeah, they better watch out for those girls, they'll prolly kill someone else in the future.
Criminal Minds- Hey, its Abbie Cobb! I've always liked her, particularly since she looks a lot like Jennie Garth, who was of course one of my childhood crushes. I also liked Christina Applegate and Nicole Eggert a lot too when I was a kid. Wonder when I transitioned from the popular blond types to neurotic brunettes and English/Aussie accented Asian chyx? Or maybe its un-Asian Asian girls? (not that I don't like Asian Asian girls) Or is it mixed Asian girls? Or is it mixed Asian girls with secret filipino blood? Like there are more than a few girls who only look part Asian, but then I find out the Asian part is Filipino, and I'm suddenly more attracted to them. Like Shay Mitchell on PLL. Or the secretary from Andy Richter Controls the Universe. Like I always thought she was mad cute, and wouldn't have even guessed she was part Asian. But somehow finding out she was like Flip-Irish made her even hotter to me.
(Also, I still find it hilarious that they had Abbie Cobb on 90210, and she had no relation to Kelly at all, when they were the spitting image of each other). I'm a little weirded out by how in the ending, Reid plays Prince Charming, presenting the shoe to her. Like it would be a pretty sweet scene if she wasn't, you know, a crazy serial killer whose delusion he was feeding in order tor distract her from killing some guy. Well that, and people on tumblr being all, "I'd be a serial killer if it got Spence to be my Prince Charming!" Seriously?
I'm also amused they kinda cut away after he took her to the car. Like once they had to cuff her and stuff, wouldn't she like flip out and stuff? And how crushed would she be? She finally gets her supposed happy ending, but it was all a trick to capture her?
