geebsDangit, was hoping to fly first class to NY for the Christmas break this year. Last year, if you counted the checked in baggage charge for Economy, then the difference between the two was only $150, so it was totally worth it to upgrade. This year the difference is freaking $700. Screw that, I ain't paying that much more for 1st.
TV commentary:
Gotham- Since when does Victor Zsasz travel with a multicultural group of leather clad dominatrix looking types? Kinda crazy plot twist though, so Penguin has been a mole for Falcone this whole time? And he knew Gordon wouldn't kill him, and to prove to Falcone that he knows how people think and thus be an effective tool, this whole thing hinged on him telling Falcone to order Gordon to kill him to prove he was right? I'm a little skeptical. Mostly because I'm not sure that really proves his worth to Falcone.
NCIS: LA- Hey, its Meredith Monroe! Sorry Criminal Minds fans, she'll always be Andie Mcphee to me, not Haley Hotchner. It was weird that she was playing the hot personal trainer who was an ex-hooker whom Deeks had given $50 to years ago and set her away from the prostitution path. Not that she's not hot, just the last few things I've seen her in, she's like playing suburban mothers- Hotch's wife, Lemon and Magnolia's mother who abandoned them who started a new family.
But dangit, couldn't they say what happened to her in the end? Like Deeks had to disappoint her that things weren't turning around for her because her boss was a lying conman. They couldn't add a line saying even though her bad guy boss basically screwed her over, she was going to be okay? I know she's supposed to be a minor supporting character, but whatever, I like to know things turn out all right for these minor characters who are affected by the plots of the shows.
