TV commentary:

OUAT- Hmm, interesting, maybe there's some truth to the Snow Queen's story. So in the Enchanted Past-Past, we see Zoso trying to get hold of the starry hexagonal box that turns into Mickey's Hat from the Sorcerer's Apprentice, from well, the Sorceror'r Apprentice. He beats the apprentice, but can't get to the box, because it won't let anyone who's succumbed to their inner darkness touch it. Apparently previous Dark Ones have tried, and all have failed.

And why do they want this box? It will apparently allow them to keep the Dark One's powers but no longer be tied to the dagger. Enter Anna, whom Rumpel uses to try and get the box. (Is it me, or is she totally adorkable?) He's all, "I'll tell you why your parents came to see me, if you put this vial of liquid into the tea of this creepy old guy who eats children" That guy is actually the apprentice, and Anna knows its sketch, so she doesn't actually pour it in. Only its not poison, its an antidote, and Rumpel had already poisoned him. So, the Apprentice turns into a mouse, which is an amusing reference to Mickey. Not only does that get him out of the way, but Rumpel expected Anna to not poison him, making her someone who's faced her inner demons (by being willing to do anything to help Elsa) and didn't succumb.

So it was a fake-out. Only Anna said she didn't get tempted to any inner darkness, because she was always going to toss the poison away. So then he's all, "Read the contract!" and says he'll imprison her forever, and her sister will be so overcome with grief that she will become a monster. So Anna takes a sword and Rumpel implores her to attack him. So its a double fake out, because now she does consider killing him to get out of her contract, but doesn't. So he takes one of her tears into the dagger, allowing him to get the box.

But the apprentice bites him and he drops the dagger, which Anna grabs. So she makes him promise to turn back the apprentice, never hurt her of her family, and transport the box and her to Arendelle. But, she didn't say the dagger, so she does go home, but Rumpel still has his dagger. Which, you knew that was going to happen since he had his dagger back for the previous seasons.

Anyways, she ends up home safely, which is interesting, because Elsa doesn't remember any of that stuff. So maybe the Rock Trolls did erase her memories like SQ said. But Anna had to end up back in Misthaven somehow if her necklace and the box are in Storybrooke.

In the present, Hook makes Rumpel restore his hand, despite Rumpel's warning that its cursed. He wants two hands to take Emma on a proper date. There's a few minor hiccups, where he's rough with the Knave and fears the hand is making him become evil. So he tells Rumpel to take it off, and the Dark One makes a deal, help him confront the apprentice, and he'll take the hand away.

So they do, and the Apprentice gets sucked into the hat. And so Hook is back to being Hook. Only now he can't blackmail Rumpel anymore, because now there's footage of him assaulting the Apprentice. Oh, and the hand was never really cursed- it was only an excuse for Hook to indulge his darkness. So Killian is a little perturbed at that.

Other stuff. SQ is making Emma chase her around, but we never find out to what end, because Belle calls Emma about a drunk Will in the library. Apparently, he's curled up with a book about Wonderland and the page with the Red Queen in particular torn out and in his hand. Oh no, did something happen with him and Anastasia?

Finally, Henry decides to go undercover with his grandfather (the evil one, not David). Rumpel seems to have a happy ending, so he tells Regina maybe he knows who wrote the book, or did something to get his happy ending, since he's a villain like Regina.
